I had an okay experience here when I went for an exam and a pair of new glasses that would be covered by the UHC Adult Plan. Dr. Jet Ruttanasee and the staff were friendly enough but they seemed extremely surprised to see me there as it appears to be an East Asian centered business. I chose this place because it had good reviews and I didn't really want to take my chances with a small business in Queens that might try to upsell glasses to me. So me acting like a normal person engaging in a business transaction with them (asking questions during the eye exam and about glasses options that would be covered/not covered) seemed to throw them off. I chalked it up to cultural differences (I grew up in America as a Guyanese-American) but what really did it for me is that I formally emailed them a few months ago about receiving a copy of my Rx. To this day they haven't responded which reflects poorly on their customer service so I will go ahead and do business with another optometrist covered by my insurance.

This is ridiculous, I took my family to get eye exams and glasses since we have been going here for years but the customer service was terrible this time around. The people there are inattentive. There was this tall slim Chinese guy that was supposed to be helping us and he kept leaving us to talk to the young girl. He's more focused on her than on what we needed help with, everything was done very slow and in the end I did not even get a proper breakdown of our purchase. I will not be recommending this place anymore

I don't usually complain, but this situation is frustrating. According to Google Maps, your Saturday closing time is 6:30 PM. However, when I called to inquire about exchanging my lenses, I was told you close at 6:00 PM. When I purchased the glasses, I was assured that the lens replacement would only take 15 minutes and that I could drop it off at any time during business hours. Now, I'm being told it will take an hour to replace the lens, and I need to come back on a weekday. This inconsistency is really disappointing.

I have been a client along with my family for over eight years. I've gotten multiple glasses made there this last time. It took them a month to get me my Celine glasses done and each time they kept giving me different excuses and making the days take longer and longer once I finally receive them, the alignment was completely off and the lenses were making me dizzy. I sent them back. They took them no problem obviously because I paid for it and then they promised me a day once I called that day they pushed it for another almost 2 weeks so here I am now it's been over a month and a half still no glasses so many excuses the boss won't even call. She's never there. It's just a bunch of incompetent people that work there now.

The store provided me the wrong progressive lenses. Michael of the store assured me that the lenses were correct, and insisted me to check the prescription with the doctor who gave me the prescription. I am 84 years old, had to travel to Manhattan to see the doctor, and will have to pay for the consultation to confirm that the prescription was right and that the lenses provided by the store were wrong. When I returned to the store, Michael apologized for the error and gave me a discount of $ 60.00, which is not enough to cover all the time and expenses I had to incur. I have been. a customer of this store for more than 8 years and have referred the store several of my friends throughout the years. In addition, it took 3 weeks from the time I placed the order until the time I received the right lenses.I expect you to review this complaint and receive a fair compensation for the error.
