My son has been coming here for about 7 years now and it has always been a great experience. The staff is attentive and they go out of their way to make his experience a good one. We appreciate this place for all that they've done to help!

Dr. Germain provided outstanding care for my special needs daughter. Rachel has cerebral palsy with optic nerve damage and has had multiple vision specialists over the last 26 years. Dr. Germain is, by far, the best vision physician to have worked directly with Rachel. We are clients for a lifetime!

From the comprehensive exam until we got it right, this staff exceeded expectations. Every interaction was a pleasure, all staff were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Quality control caught an imperfect lens. When the prescription came in it wasn't quite right for me. The staff said, "if you can see better, we want you to see better". We did another exam and my insurance covered a slightly different prescription that was perfect! Thanks again for everything.

If the Dr. wrights "you are a special case" they don't say surgery will not go well but you are in trouble. After 7 months I'm still suffering. Find a doctor that talks to you. Don't rush into this because 95% do well.

The care I received is adequate. However, I checked in 15 minutes early for recommended check in time for my appointment, was informed to wait in my car, and ended up waiting nearly 2 hours past my appointment time to be seen. This to me is completely unacceptable. They are seeing less patients, and I checked in early. There should be no reason to be pushed down the line that far, and then have to wait outside in 90 degree weather for 2 hours. I called at a little past an hour out and was told "oh sorry, Dr. Is running behind and another PT is now before you". I believe I may have been forgotten in all reality. I would have left if it wasn't so urgent to be seen.

When I called to get my daughter scheduled I specifically asked for a pediatric opthamology appointment and told them that she is already seen in another office but I was hoping to switch. They were scheduling a couple months out. Her appointment is now on the next business day and I received a call that she's actually being seen by an optometrist who sees kids 3 and up (she's not even 2) and that we have to pay $265 to see this person who can't even treat her and then would have to schedule with the opthamologist. Canceled the appointment because if you can't even be bothered to say any of this within the 2 months we sat waiting I highly doubt the practice standards. We'll stick with waiting 2 hours past appointments at our other office because at least I trust they know what they're doing.

The reception that answered the phone was nasty! I need an emergency appointment for my daughter and was told by her someone would call me back either today or tomorrow. When I asked what good that was going to do she said someone would call me back to make an appointment. I replied isn't someone there to do it now, she told me no the person that does it called and she was waiting for someone to come from Rochester!! Not my problem. How can only one person schedule appointments? What is the rest of the people that are sitting in the office jobs? I also tried to call the night before at 4:30 pm and got the message they were closed when they don't close until 5 pm. LAZY!! That's what it sounds like to me.

I am not sure why there are so many bad reviews! So what, we all had to wait to be seen but seriously, I bet that wait was worth everyone's ability to have their vision or whatever issues they were having corrected. I enjoyed my visit to Flaum. My nurse Mary was amazing and was eager to answer any and all questions. I also saw Dr. Desilva and she was also amazing! Everyone I spoke to at Flaum were amazing! Like I said I have no idea why all the rude reviews. My 3 year old will be visiting in 2 weeks and I'm 110% certain that she will receive the great excellent care that I received?
