I recently had cataract surgery performed by Doctor Bloom one eye in December 2025 and the other in January 2026 and the results are amazing! I can see to drive at night again, my whole world is so much clearer and brighter. Best decison I ever made and so glad I found Doctor Bloom he is truely gifted.

I was near sighted and after a discussion with Dr Bloom we decided to see if I was a candidate for MonoVision. He removed the cataract in one eye and put a new distance monofocal lens in which enabled me to see without glasses. After one year he replaced my cataract lens in my second eye with a near vision monofocal lens and I continue to see clearly without any glasses. Dr Bloom was great he was willing to work with me and answer my numerous questions. A real professional.

I found Dr. Bloom to be arrogant, brusque, and smug. When I asked if he did the traditional surgery for cataracts, he replied that he did not, and only did the laser surgery. He then proceeded to berate me for not being able to afford this expensive, non-insured method, telling me that people spend $40,000 for a car, and why not spend it for their eyes. The visit then abruptly ended. I will never return to this practice, and I would not recommend him to anyone.

A number of years ago I had laser and cataract surgery by Dr. Bloom. I also have moderate macular degeneration. After the surgery and to this date I still have 20/20 vision. Dr. BLOOM did an amazing job!

Dr Bloom was outstanding! I am 93 and had a detached retina several years ago and despite my age and previous history Dr Bloom restored my vision to 20/30 no more distance glasses. Wow.

I can't thank Dr. Bloom enough! He was incredibly professional and managed to remove a contact lens that had been stuck in my eye for weeks. His expertise and calm demeanor made what could have been a stressful experience quick and painless. Highly recommend him for any eye care needs!

I have been a patient of Dr Adam Bloom and Dr Jordan Skyer at OCLi for years.This summer of 2024 was time for me to have cataract surgery.I was nervous but had full confidence in Dr. Bloom. For me the experience was life changing.I have worn eyeglasses for severe astigmatism since childhood.There are specialty lenses that can be utilized after removing the cataracts, and the specialty lenses can correct the astigmatism.I now have the vision I had with eyeglasses, without eyeglasses.It is miraculous, really.Dr. Bloom is very passionate about performing cataract surgery and getting the best possible results for his patients.He explained the procedures very thoroughly and patiently.His surgical co-ordinator, Carla,is very professional and helpful.The surgi-center that OCLI uses is well run with caring and professional staff. The two cataract surgeries went well.Dr Bloom provides excellent follow-up and after care instructions. A very positive experience and I recommend Dr. Bloom highly.

He possesses incredible skill, thoroughness, and a caring nature. The office staff is also efficient and caring. I recently underwent cataract surgery. He is an expert. The results are amazing. Highly recommended
