They had me on hold for over 12 minutes! I even called them on my other line and they STILL didn't pick up. See screen shots.
I've been there before and they weren't that great. But they're close by and I just need a prescription so I can go to Costco and get my glasses.

I have been going to OCLI Park Avenue for about five years. It's a very friendly and warm place and Dr. Krawitz is the best. I have glaucoma and he is a caring and very professional doctor.

Staff is super nice but the doctor I saw was unfriendly and did not address the eye redness and tearing I've been experiencing because he didn't take the time to talk with me. He also scoffed at a shingles diagnosis I'd gotten a few weeks before and talked to his assistant as if I wasn't even there. I am sure he is very skilled technically but I don't like the way he treated me. In the future I will be seeking eye care elsewhere.

I was instructed to arrive by 8:30 for my 8:45 appointment. I did, but I had to wait in line for 15 minutes to be checked in (the online checkin didn't work). I wasn't seen by the Dr until 9:45. I found out that they couldn't give me a contact lens prescription after I had already invested too much time in the appointment. I asked why insurance doesn't cover refraction if it's required for a prescription and nobody was able to answer me. I now have to go to their other location for another appointment. Hopefully not another copay, but I didn't get a definitive answer on that either. And I wasn't able to see Dr. Krawitz (my previous Dr) because I was told he isn't seeing any patients under 65 - that seemed bogus to me. I would not recommend this location.

From the time you go in to the time you leave, everyone puts you at ease. The staff and nurses are friendly and courteous. The office is beautiful, decorated with Dr. Krawitz's artwork. Most of all Dr. Krawitz is very invested in how to help you have healthy eyes. He is very knowledgeable and encouraging to take care of your eyes. I am a diabetic and he's been concerned that I take care of my diet so that my eyes do not get worst. He is very straightforward and honest and answers your questions. I always come out encouraged.

I would definitely recommend this facility for the best treatment and services for your eyes.

I'd give zero stars if I could. Been a patient here for some time, I have insurance and never had a problem. Due to an error on their billing or processing department they send me a bill and have me to the legwork of their billing dept. I get mistakes happen but woman I spoke with in the billing department was unkind.
