This is a mixed review. Wish I could do two separate ones. The staff is very good, knowledgeable and caring. I had an issue with the glasses I bought 2 years ago and they were very responsive in replacing the frame because they could not get the correct screw. For this and the great follow up 5 stars! The reduction to 3 stars is for the the lens quality. Only one of the lenses has 'crazing' (see pictures) which seems like something that should be a covered defect. Don't mind if they were inexpensive but we are talking $1,100 pair of specs. One lens is almost nothing and the other very crazed.

I recently had an eye exam with Dr. Fishman. He was very thorough, taking the time to explain everything in detail. I felt well taken care of and confident in the results of the exam.
Kim and Melody, were experts in picking out the perfect pair of glasses and were so patient, knowledgeable, and attentive! Their suggestions and expertise made the whole process much easier and enjoyable. Overall, I had a great experience and highly recommend Dr. Fishman and his team for anyone in need of a comprehensive eye exam and personalized eyewear service.

I went with my daughter and husband to fill out their prescription for lenses. The staff person was polite, very informative and friendly. Excellent service and friendly staff. They assisted with showing me a variety of frames and offered some helpful suggestions for what might work well with my prescription. Details about different lens choices were offered and my questions received knowledgeable answers. There was absolutely no sales pressure or rushing while I tried to decide what would work best. I chose glasses and sunglasses and am very happy with my purchases. The store was spotlessly clean with hand sanitizer on the counters and the staff were masked. I felt safe shopping at Optyx.

Went to Optyx in Huntington to get new glasses for my teen daughter and myself less than a week ago. Faye was the salesperson who took care of us. She was friendly, attentive, and helpful. She was especially sweet with my daughter. Her service was definitely top notch for sure!
A few negatives about the store: 1) I wish they had more styles of eyewear frames (the store is on the small side).
2) maybe because I haven't purchased a pair of glasses in a few years, I found the prices for two pairs of glasses to be fairly expensive (we did get the transitions lenses and we are moderately nearsighted so we had to get the thinner lenses). It cost me over $2,400 before the HSA insurance discount. But overall I was happy with the store and the experience. Maybe give a buy one pair and get second one at 25% off would be a great way to help defray the cost of glasses for families.

Very Very Rude and non trustable people works at OPTYX at 1806 Deer Park Ave, Deer park location ! I am with them for 2 years for my son's eye test but everytime there is always some or other issue with them in ordering lenses. I ordered 6 months supply of contact lenses with them and they asked me to wait till 1and half month then they say we don't have them yet later I requested them a lot to give me some at least because I have to travel for 2 months for which I already paid. I feel like am stuck with them paying and not getting the lenses on right time. So they gave me some but not whole supply. Later I picked up others when I returned back saying they have completed the order. But later I found they did not give me again the complete order. I trusted on them and did not counted that time but now they are not at all ready to listen and talking very rudely to us that we should have told them earlier and asking more money for missing ones which they did not give earlier and for those I already paid them initially at the time of ordering. It's very bad and very rude talking by them over phone. Please please be aware of them!
