Wang George MD

I found that Dr. Wang presents himself in a very professional manner. However, I did feel that his interaction with my child was a bit rushed and lacked patience. During our visit, he mentioned that my child might have a lazy eye. After seeking a second opinion from two other eye doctors, it turned out that her glasses prescription simply needed updating. Additionally, when I asked for a printed prescription at the end of the exam, I was informed that their system couldn't produce one. I believe a simple handwritten note would have been an easy solution. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future patients.

I have been to Dr wang's office actually..... Called insurance personally why my MRI got denied and insurance stated it was because my ophthalmology testing results were not submitted. Called the office... Terrible service as they denied access to my own medical records or any of my specialists or PCP. I called and tried to walk in for my own medical testing done and Dr. Wang himself and front desk staff members denied my own record as they state my record is for THEIR office use only...... My specialists and PCP tried calling to get a copy as well and got denied access when I allowed them to have access when signing papers as their new patient indicating that no information is withheld. how is MY record for YOUR office use only where patient themselves cant get a copy....???? Due to this and my emergency I had to pay out of my OWN pocket because Dr. Wang's office did not want to release my record to ME at least.

I've been going to him for years & I think he is a Great Doctor. He has always explained everything & kept me posted as to how great my eyes were until my right eye developed a cataract. He recently performed surgery and everything is now perfect. I am convinced that when you are in George Wang MD's hands you are in Great hands. He cares, he explained everything & you know you will be fine. A Great Doctor

The staff at the Huntington location is so rude. I was trying to make an appointment for my mother the lady on the phone sounded rushed and annoyed while talking to me. The appointment was made. Appointment date comes my mother goes and the staff tell her she has no appointment. The staff belittle my mother and told her how dare she come in with out an appointment. Needless to say we are not going back.

Dc George Wang is a highly skilled and compassionate doctor. His office staff is also super professional and responsive. I went with my mom for a eye exam and after a simple in office glaucoma correction procedure and a thorough consultation on cataracs my mom had a sucessful surgery with Dc. George Wang. Short and pain-free procedure and she's now enjoying her clear vision and being glasses free at 70!

After experiencing a problem with my left eye for over a week I called Dr Wang's office to schedule a new patient appointment ...the front desk person was greacious and accommodating and sympathic to my concerns... she was able to work me in the same day which was amazing because my availability is limited...surprisingly I was taken in with minimal wait time ....Dr Wang's assistant was efficient and tested me thoroughly... Dr Wang then gave me an extensive exam and spent time discussing his findings and my follow up... He took his time making sure I understood everything... I was impressed with his professionalism and his calming demeanor... I would highly recommend Dr Wang to anyone in need of a great opthomoligst...

Dr. Wang is extremely knowledgeable as well as courteous and personal. I recommend both Dr. Wang and his wife, Dr. Tung Chu, to all my friends.

Please, don't waste your money here. Not worth the rude and inconsiderate staff and sup-par treatment.
