Excellent service. Understanding diversity. Very focus & thorough with patients. I Visited DR Ankit Metha today at 164-05 Hillside , second floor.. He has done an excellent job. I was very please with how focus and thorough he was during my visit. listen and answer my concerns. The office Receptionist is very polite as well. Highly recommended.

I went to Mehta's office for an eye exam for renewing my license. He purposefully failed me on the exam and forced me to get glasses even though I can see very well and do not need glasses nor have I ever worn them. During the appointment, he rushed through everything and was very rough during the eye exam. I had to waste extra time going to the DMV office again and they passed me for my eye exam and he failed me for no reason even though I can see.

I am happy to write a review for Dr. Ankit Meheta who is very good doctor. There is a bit waiting time so please plan ahead keeping 1-2 hours free. The office is not fancy in this old building but the staffs are beautiful, specially the lady in front desk are so nice and friendly. I have been visiting this office since 2015. I saw a big change after the change of Front desk lady. The present staffs are professional and seems patients are from local community and members of families of the staff. I will recommend paying visit to this office. I know many man many mind, but I feel sorry for the people if they judge with bias mind being pessimist. I will advise the office to minimize the waiting time and a better entertained environment for children.

I was visited there 3 hours waiting. If you go there , then you are done for that day . Any way I didn't get proper treatment. Then I visited NYU 1111 Franklin Avenue, 2nd Floor, Garden City, NY. omg it's not comparable. NYU has the very high classes testing equipment, and on time , don't need to wait for a single Munire and same co pay .

Receptionist is great. However, Dr. Ankit Mehta is the worst. Dude has no manners nor any respect. If you think of getting your eye checked by him, don't. Unless you wanna be treated by rude service, by all means, go ahead.

Extremely satisfied with Dr. Ankit Mehta and his courteous staff. Everytime I visit him, he devotes sufficient time to address my concerns. No other doctor has made me feel calmer about my troubled eyesight. Gives honest opinions, unlike other practitioners in the area. Highly recommended him!

Very unorganised and the staff weren't friendly at all. Made appointment week and a half ago and ended up seeing the doctor more than an hour late - needless to say accommodating work schedule wasn't easy. What is the point of making an appointment if visits are first come first served? Even if it is - its better to let the appointee know in advance. When I made appointment over the phone I was told my insurance was accepted and the doctors name showed up in the providers list when I searched for in-network doctor. But when I phisically went to visit the doctor they stated the insurance is not accepted. Then the insurance company had to be contacted to get clarification. Did not like the extra drama during a work day. This was a referral from my PCP and my insurance did not cover his visit so ended up paying in full. So if you are coming without an insurance or without coverage make sure you are ready to pay some heavy bucks. Very disappointed by the management.
