Wizard of Eyes

Fantastic team of eye doctors, technicians and salespeople. I recently changed glasses. I bought the frame from outside. They did a quick eye exam, talked me through the insurance process & completed the work within 2 days. Fast, efficient & friendly team. Wish them more successes in future!

I took my mother on Black Friday and they immediately helped her meet the dr, find a new pair of frames at a discount and even gave her good advice about cataract surgery. They let me sit with her to translate for the dr, who was almost as nice as the tall guy who took care of us front of store and through the medical tests. As we were leaving, they even offered to fix my niece's frame which was missing a screw. Awesome service. Will return with the rest of my fam for sure.

Ms Faith was the nice woman who helped me pick out a nice pair of glasses. She wasn't just trying to make a sale she really was helping me pick out a pair that fit my face. Ms Faith was very Professional along with being kind and caring to me. Thank you Ms. Faith

The hours say they are open till 5 but I went with my boyfriend and they're closed. We wasted our time for no reason when they called and said that the glasses were ready but they're closed. and i totally forgot but this isn't my boyfriends second time here. the first time we came and they checked his eyes for him because we couldn't get any appointments in the hospital. My boyfriend complained that the glasses they prescribed was making his head hurt but we assumed it's because it's a new power and he needed time to adjust. but now it's like almost a year later and my boyfriend went to the actual eye doctor they said that the power they gave was wayyyy too high. SO CLEARLY the people checking eyes here are not doing the best (and even stated in other ppls reviews that they had issues with the eye "doctors" here). This is honestly one of those places you go to for something last minute if you wanna pay $200 dollars and have no other option. EDIT: Its going to show closed on sundays on google now because I requested a google map edit to be done but the screenshot in my review is prior to me doing that

Eating fast food locally, an Arab or Bengali straight couple sat with no food next to where I ate. They then moved places to where he sat in the dusk sunlight, making his Harry Potter style gold alloy eyewear shine. The next morning when getting coffee locally, as I departed, a British woman asked if I could buy her a cup of coffee outside of the optician next to McDonald's on Jamaica Avenue. Despite that I declined, she inspired my visit to Wizard of Eyes. Answering my questions in the medical examination, Dr. David confessed that her daughter has the same birthday date as I do. I confessed that I celebrate foreign holidays in July: Canada Day; Bastille Day; I omitted Chile's Fiesta de la Tirana; and included my own birthday. Answering that she is Filipino, I shared that I've read about the Japanese Invasion of the Philippines in WWII, omitting that I like: Anime; Sushi, Sashimi and Onigiri; Japanese Kitchenware brands: Miyabi and Yamazaki Tableware I am so absolutely thrilled with my: social and pedestrian conditioning welcome; medical examination; shopping experience, where I purchased a house made pair of Harry Potter style glasses and to discover a brand of eyewear with my name here

Went to repair two pairs of shades and ended up buying a pair and customizing them. I also brought a second pair from home to be customized. I was very satisfied with my purchase, the customization done to my lenses and most importantly customer service by the staff there especially Gaby, that young lady is heaven sent! Wish they had a Gaby in every store that I shop at, very pleasant, professional and just a pleasure to talk to.

Faith is the absolute best. She is so kind. I'm a very indecisive person and she was very patient. I tried on at least 10 frames and she helped me select the one that best suited me. I love her. I'll return simply due to her customer service
