Children's Eyes Albany

Doctor Ness was awesome with my 3 1/2 year old today! She will have her new glasses in about a week! This office was very busy but moved quickly getting people in and out! We drove two hours to come here and was worth it!

Dr.Ness was very patient with our 2 year old who generally doesn't do well with strangers. We had some tears at first so he moved quickly but was very thorough. He explained everything to us and to our child to help ease nerves. We were very satisfied with our entire experience. Incredible staff as well, everyone we met along the way was amazing.

I brought both my daughters and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND. ages 9 and 4 and they did an amazing job making them both feel comfortable and safe. A great waiting room for kids to play color or watch a movie while you wait. I will be bringing my kids here for the foreseeable future. Just amazing service from start to finish.

Great place to take a child for a comprehensive eye health check up! They're great with kids. And has a big waiting room for the kids. Plus Disney movies in all the exam rooms while you wait. They have snacks and free water. Plus coloring pages to do while waiting. Very helpful staff.

Dr. Nicole Storey is a fantastic addition to Children's Eyes Institute! She's not new (we've been seeing her for 4 years already). She is so very smart, explains every single thing to my child, age 9 as well as myself. She has some complex needs. She is aggressive in treatment to offer the best outcomes for vision. We love her AND that she's a "Girl in SCIENCE!" (A big thing for our family to find examples of). Her clinical techs are amazing as well. Today she was running early, other days she runs late. Don't panic if this happens. It is because she spends as much time as you and your child needs. You won't be rushed out the door for her to make up time ever. The in clinic glasses shop is great but do know if they don't take your insurance there are plenty of online options (we've done both). You can't go wrong with Dr. Storey or her team. And all the docs collaborate as needed. You truly will be seeking the best care. They also do very well with very young children and with the kids (I have them) with diagnostic alphabet soup.

Dr.Storrey and Dr.Ness are always kind and patient with my son ( even on his cranky days) any questions I have are always answered . Front desk staff is always friendly on the phone and in person. Staff is always polite.

Dr. Barry and his team are incredible! I bring both of my daughters to this office - one is 9 & just needs glasses, and the other is 7 and has a much more complicated & complex vision issue. Dr. Barry is wonderful with both of them - takes the "just glasses" situation just as seriously as the other. They schedule both kids for the same time, making my life significantly easier! This is the place to go!!!

Incredible office, with a fantastic team! Dr. Storey is a gem. She was so gentle and kind with my son. The techs and nurses were just as awesome! 10/10 highly recommend!
