Sue was wonderful and I was appreciative she made the effort to keep the door open during a very busy Saturday. :-) I was thankful for her honesty of the selection when making a costly purchase that will be best choice for a long time to come. And I am confident I will be grateful when the eyewear we selected come in!

Took my son here. Unfortunately didn't take our insurance but we did the exam and I was very impressed with the Dr and how she detailed everything to him and spoke to him vs me the whole time. We ended up talking to AJ about glasses and I was on the fence but we ended up getting 50% because he's a kid so we got glasses and lenses. I have to submit my own paperwork to the insurance but that's fine with me. I may switch myself.

This was my first visit to this optometrist, and unfortunately, it didn't meet expectations -- especially considering how much I ended up paying out of pocket. I don't have vision insurance, so I knew I'd be covering the full cost myself, but the prices were surprisingly high for what felt like a very basic experience. The eye exam was done entirely using old-school methods -- no modern technology, no digital eye mapping, nothing that made it feel up-to-date or efficient. For the amount they charge, I expected at least some current equipment or tools. After some research, I found out the practice is no longer family-owned and is now part of Luxottica. That definitely explains the shift in focus -- it felt more corporate than caring. The staff were friendly, and the optometrist was professional, but the overall atmosphere lacked the personal touch and value you'd hope for, especially at these prices. If you're a first-time customer without insurance, I'd recommend exploring other options first. There are places with more advanced technology and far more reasonable pricing.

Overall, good experience. AJ was very nice. The receptionist was a little grumpy, otherwise I would have given 5 stars

Great place for eye exam, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, especially if needed to be fitted for new glasses!!!!

My wife and I purchased several pair of glasses a few years ago and I stopped by recently to ask about the coating that was peeling off my readers. I was told that the warranty expired and there was nothing they could do. These are lightly used glasses and not abused. I feel they should have been willing to re-coat the lenses. Instead they lost two customers. I suggest finding another business for anyone looking to purchase eyewear.

Everyone was very accommodating and helpful. The exam was thorough. I was very satisfied with my appointment. I have been using Dinapoli for years and will continue to do so.
