I had a SERIOUS allergic reaction to a med that she prescribed for me. I phoned the 1st time and a sweet angel was VERY concerned. I phoned again 6 days later because I NEVER received a call back and I was reminded that I phoned the day before the holiday NOW 6 days later BUT she's been very busy. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? My eyes were swelling and I was having labored breathing AND MY DOCTOR WAS TOO BUSY to call me. Thank God I was able to find someone else to assist me out of that practice.
Her staff informed me that they book 5 or more patients in each slot, that's why you only see her BRIEFLY when you FINALLY get in!!!
When you get in to see her she has one foot in the door and one out.
My surgery was a disaster to say the least!!!
I don't believe I have EVER met a less compassionate person in my life.
I would advise you to think twice if you are considering to see her!!!
Dr. Lopasic has been my physician for over 20years. She provides excellent care providing services for not only cataract but plastic Eye Surgery as well. Appointments are flexible time frames, and the staff will work with you to make an appointment that fits into your busy schedule.
This is one of those times that if I could get negative stars, I absolutely would. Today I brought my granddaughter in after having a surgery. This doctor had no bedside manner, or manners at all for that matter. Came in the room, never said hello never introduced herself, and the way she talked down to my granddaughter, The entire time was not acceptable either. It's bad enough that she's blind in one eye and all the technicians are kept waving their hands in front of that particular Eye asking if she could see, knowing that she is blind in that eye, so how was she supposed to see exactly?. This place is somewhere I would never take my own child nor would I ever set foot in this "office" Again. You're treated like a Number, your not a patient. It was literally like revolving chairs the entire time I was there. Waiting an hour and a half, not one person ever came up and said that they were sorry for the wait and the doctor would be with them shortly. I've been a medical assistant for going on 20 years and never in my life. Have I seen a practice that inept in my whole entire career.
I had a great appointment with Dr. Lopasic! The attentiveness to my concerns were completely addressed and resolved. Thank you, I will definitely continue treatment.
Dr. Natalie Lopasic performed my blepharoplasty surgery, and I couldn't be more satisfied. She was not only highly professional and skilled but also incredibly kind and patient, especially considering my fear of having my eyes touched. Dr. Lopasic took the time to listen to my concerns, explained the procedure thoroughly, and ensured I was comfortable every step of the way. Thanks to her compassion, the entire experience was far less stressful than I anticipated, and the results are fantastic. I highly recommend Dr. Lopasic to anyone considering this procedure.
Such great cataract surgery(painless), she took the time to answer questions, start to finish a top tier professional!
This is a very extensive review with multiple updates, but the brief, is do not, under any circumstance allow this woman to see you or your child. She is extremely unprofessional and should not be allowed to practice medicine in any way shape or form. She is absolutely horrible. Instead, book Dr. Barry at Children's Eye of Albany. Much better experience!
5/22/24 : I brought my daughter here because it's the only neuro ophthalmologist in the area who does pediatrics. I was disappointed by the Doctor.
We waited an hour for her to come into the room then she dismissed looking at my daughter's eyes because she was crying. We had been waiting almost an hour, I would be frustrated as a 2 year old as well.
She stayed for about 10 minutes and wanted to walk out but I told her I had questions I needed her to answer before she walked out. I did find her tone with her assistant a little rude as well.
She was overall nice, but I would rate it a 2/5 stars because I felt the appointment was cut very short and the customer service wasn't great. We waited 6 months for this appointment and I felt my daughter was owed more than a few minutes with the doctor.
I will have to continue to see this doctor because see there are no other options, but overall all I was very disappointed by this appointment.
8/27/24: Editing 3 months later to add extra frustration and lack of care. Also dropping to 0 stars.
Was ordered an MRI and it took the office staff 6 weeks to schedule with me having to call 2x/day for 3 weeks. THREE WEEKS.
At follow up appointment, We waited an hour and a half to be seen by the doctor. When bringing this up, they stated everyone had been waiting. It is ridiculous and they should be embarrassed instead of proud of this fact. Their office staff is EXTREMELY disorganized. Absolutely horrible practice.
When we finally saw the doctor, she admitted to never reviewing the MRI results she ordered. After I had specifically asked that the doctor would see results prior to appointment and was told she would. She was unapologetic about never viewing the results. Then passed the buck and told us we needed to see a neurologist.
This place is a huge disappointment and I urge everyone to RUN. Every single step with this office has been poor quality. The disorganization, poor quality of care and disrespect for others' time is unreal.
9/16/24: another edit. We requested a letter to get our daughter services. The Dr sent us a letter saying our daughter has cortical vision impairment. This is a serious condition the should have been relayed to us at the appointment, NOT IN A LETTER. When we called out the dr, She claimed she tried to let us know during the appointment. This was clearly a lie as evidenced in our daughter's records.
January 2025: I would highly recommend Dr Barry at Child's Eye for ANY pediatric eye need. He was excellent. I still cannot express how much I would not recommend Dr. Lopasic for ANYTHING.
Do not allow Dr. Lopasic to see your child. She clearly is so disorganized she does not know what is going on with patients. This experience has been so horrible and I truly hope this review saves you from experiencing what we have experienced.
Dr Lopasic really cares about you. She even called me on the weekend to make sure I was doing okay.
