I went in on Monday because I had broken my glasses on Sunday and none of the optical places are open. I had a quick eye exam and found a pair of glasses I liked. They told me they would try and put a rush on my glasses but told me it would probably be 6-7 days. They called me on Wednesday and told me my glasses were ready. Super quick and impressive. Thank you!

I can't believe the level of discrimination towards the neurodivergent. This is the second place that refused me an appointment because I'm disabled. I do not have appropriate medical care I have been disabled for 3/4 of my life. All I need is a pair of eyeglasses. This place turned me away because I'm neurodivergent so if you have AuDHD CRPS or Fibromyalgia MECFS epilepsy any neurological issue they will use that against you. All I need is a pair of eyeglasses. The last call and then I went to was Smith Haven Mall they didn't have a problem giving me eyeglasses that was 2013. I do not have any other means in which to get eyeglasses my insurance company does not cover ophthalmology my insurance company has changed their policies they do not treat the neurodivergent appropriately. I do not drive but I want to be able to fly on a plane. This place gives you a problem the motor vehicle has a deadline. This is not a good place for the neurodivergent. Discrimination!

Simple, needed contacts, haven't checked my eyes in a long time...called, made a appointment and greeted by a group of helpful and happy people. Had my eyes checked, all changes explained perfectly and they did. I was given a trial pair of contacts while until I ordered and now I can see again....

I have never left a review for any business before so this is a first for me but I felt the need to let people know that this Cohen Optical was AMAZING! I have been to other Cohens and was not happy at all and my glasses made me very dizzy. Come to find out after seeing the dr at this location that my prescription was too strong. The dr took her time and explained everything as she went along. When picking out new frames, the two Laurie's that work there were so patient with me because I must have tried on 30 different frames and they actually helped me choose the frames that best fit my face. I actually ended up buying two pairs of glasses because I couldn't decide on which frames I liked best. The glasses only took a couple of days to come in and when I tried them on I was blown away by how crystal clear I could see everything!!! For the first time in years someone had gotten my prescription right! I felt like I had a new set of eyes!! I highly recommend this place and from now on will not go anywhere else!!! Thanks to the staff at Cohen Optical!!!

wish i could give 0 stars.
walked in and instead of being greeted i got looked at like I had 5 heads.
customer service was atrocious. there was a lady with red hair who had absolutely no idea what she was doing. she was talking about me to the older blonde lady as if i wasnt standing right there and hearing everything they were saying.
they were struggling to find my insurance despite telling me on the phone they took my insurance when i called to ask. then they told me I need to call and make sure im under the plan?
ive ALWAYS been under my mothers plan, im 23. i went to the doctor 2 days ago lol.
they were very quick to turn me away with no help or explanation.
then i heard the guy next to me get quoted 600 for one pair of glasses and was so happy i was turned away. the universe was looking out for me lol.
insane. shouldve read the reviews before booking but now i know.
