Pearle Vision

I have been going to Pearle Vision for many many years. I will never set foot in another Pearle ever again. Their work is sloppy and my glasses never come out correct. This review is especially for the EXTREMELY rude old man who "helps" people pick out glasses in there. I brought my glasses in to have the lenses replaced bc the coating was coming off less than a year after getting them. I easily pay $400+ for progressive lenses and have been giving Pearle my money for far too long. Last Saturday was the icing on the cake. Every time I go in this location and he's there, he's always very bothered, has a poor attitude and is just plain RUDE every single time. There was another woman working at the other desk last weekend as well and neither of them acknowledged that I walked into the store. I kind of just stood there with my glasses in hand waiting for someone to say CAN I HELP YOU? The man takes my glasses to cut the lenses and tells me to come back in an hour. Well guess what? No pupil distance was taken and I can't see as well as I did with the prior lenses. How is that even possible???? I am confident this location will not last another 5 years treating people like garbage and not caring about their quality of work!!!

I arrived 3 minutes late to my appointment at 5:30. There was not a single other customer waiting and the location is open until 7. I walked in joking and apologizing to the woman sitting in the front as my car lights are bright and went into her eyes when I pulled into the spot. I had barely finished my sentence before the doctor stormed out from the back and brashly and loudly asked from across the store "what are you here for?" I responded that I was there for an eye exam at 5:30. He then in the same impolite tone with his hands in the air waving me to the back said "let's go, let's go, you're late!" While I understand that it was inconvenient that I was 3 minutes late, I found it quite inappropriate for him to become so emotional and angry for such a small infraction. If he had greeted me or given me one moment to speak, I would have apologized for being late. I am not going to allow an agitated man to get as close to me as necessary to perform an eye exam so I left. This whole encounter was extremely unnecessary and disappointing.

Have been a customer at this location for more than 20 years. All the front employees are great but Laurie is a family favorite. As for Dr. Seth Speiser, well he is the absolute best Optometrist of all I've ever encountered. Extremely professional, knowledgeable, patient and caring. On top of that he has a fantastic sense of humor. Highly recommend this location.

I really liked everything about this location. The person who answered the phone was knowledgeable & helpful. The Dr was fantastic! Best experience in the 10 years I've been wearing glasses. Even the person at the front desk was a pleasure to speak with and they helped my husband and I look at some frames. They even gave us our prescription printed out in minutes. I recommend 100%

Pearl Vision was excellent from start to finish when we walked in The eye Doctor was kind caring and very knowledgeable. As my Husband stated we didn't get the fast shuffle older people experience. I will not go any other place going forward. Our glasses turned out the best we ever received. Thank you to the entire staff. This was at the Massapequa location Sunrise Highway.

Very relaxed atmosphere. Everyone was very nice and attentive. The eye doctor (Dr. Seth Speiser) has a great sense of humor and the eye exam went very smoothly. The lady who showed me the different pairs of glasses (Lori) was extremely helpful. Highly recommended.

This is my second time to this Pearle Vision location. After 5 years, Dr. Seth Speiser has not changed! He is still gregarious, pleasant and has an excellent bed-side manner. He also has a quirky sense of humor. ;) Dr. Speiser explained every step of mye eye exam and results which I was quite anxious to hear because of my family Hx of eye problems. I highly recommend this location. Kudos to Rosa and TaHir, manager. Their dispositions are commendable. Blessing on this establishment!

Lori was super helpful and nice, called my insurance to see what would be covered if I purchased glasses. Someone also kindly adjusted my current pair even though I didn't purchase them there. I recently moved to the area and will definitely be back!
