Southtowns Eye Center

Wow!! Everyone at Southtowns Eye Center was kind, caring and knowledgeable related to the issue I was having with my eyes today. Because I had a potential urgent issue, I was seen within one hour of my initial call to the office. Jill, Nicole and Dr. Bieter worked efficiently to clearly identify the issue I was experiencing and set my mind at ease by determine that it was not urgent at the present time. Thank you also for sending me home with a written summary of the visit. I am not a medical professional (but my wife is...) so leaving an appointment with everything discussed on paper is extremely helpful. And Nicole, thank you so much for being both friendly and kind. I know it can be frustrating dealing with the elderly (especially someone with hearing issues), but you showed nothing but patience, understanding and kindness. Thank you so much!!

A professional and modern practice. I have been a patient for more than twenty years and their treatments and recommendations have helped me maintain my vision as age-related issues arose. A great practice with good physicians and staff.

Everyone at the Eye Center is fantastic and friendly. Dr. Colin Anderson is wonderful and takes great care in explaining all the procedures. Will always use this center I will go nowhere else.

I have been going to the Southtowns Eye Center for years and as did my mother before me. The staff is extremely curteous and it is a very professional atmosphere. I have never had any problems with the people or the treatments.

This place is very easy to do business with. Answered all my questions and had me in and out in no time. Much better experience than ECVA. The staff was also super super friendly

I made an appointment three weeks in advance and told them my insurance changed to Medicaid. The phone receptionist was incredibly rude about it, but said it was ok. Fast forward to my appointment, I was sent out the door because I was on Medicaid. It would have been nice to know before taking the time off from work and a 45 minute drive. Additionally, they won't do an eyeglass check during their work up. That requires an additional appointment at a different day. Sounds like a nifty way to double bill insurance. On a positive note, the doctors were good in the past. I'm sure my issues are management/corporate related.

Dr. Colin Anderson did an an amazing job on my cataract surgery. My cataract was pretty bad, and the doctor was patient, caring, answered all my questions and took as much time as I needed to assure me I was in good hands. During surgery he did the same talking to me the whole time, assuring me all was going good. I would highly recommend him to my family and friends. Dr. Colin Anderson is a doctor that truly cares about his patients. The office staff is great too!

Had my cataracts done by Dr Simmons. He was very reassuring throughout the procedures. I was very nervous to start, but he allayed all of my fears. Most definitely recommend the eye center!
