Empire Visionworks Northway Plaza

My husband and I have been using Empire VISIONWORKS for many years. We've been fortunate to have Mark assist us with selecting our eye glasses. He is very knowledgeable about all the important details, especially the appropriate size of frames required to satisfy our lens prescription. He also knows a lot about how a frame should fit the face, especially over the nose, cheeks, and ears. Mark listened to me about what felt comfortable on my temples. You want your new glasses to fit well. His experience gave me the confidence knowing I made the best selection with his guidance. I appreciated his honest opinions and his willingness to explain whatever promotions were active at the time. He was patient with me and very helpful in trying to get the best available promotion. I visited the store on a snowy day, possibly closing early. Despite this, Mark called me about something relative to my order. Thank you Mark for going above and beyond. Also want to say Jennifer Fester, O.D. Did a great job with my eye exam and explaining the images of my retinas.

I had an excellent experience at Vision Works from start to finish. The entire office is welcoming, professional, and truly cares about their patients. Dr. Fester is thorough, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly without ever making me feel rushed. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients and their eye health. I also want to give special recognition to Julia, who was unbelievably patient and kind. She went above and beyond by carefully teaching me how to install my contacts, making sure I felt comfortable and confident before leaving. Her calm attitude and willingness to help made a huge difference. If you're looking for an eye doctor's office with outstanding care, friendly staff, and top-notch service, I highly recommend Vision Works!

I just spoke with Julia who is amazing! If I write how much I love this Visionworks it would be a thesis! Julia and her supervisor were incredibly understanding of my situation and quickly scheduled an assessment. I will never go back to an ophthalmologist again for regular visits. Visionworks is much more efficient and quite frankly much kinder with better selections of glasses than any privately owned place!

Doc and Michele were amazing. He took his time to make sure that both my husband and I were taken care of and didn't make us feel like just a number. Michele was wonderful. She helped me pick out the perfect pair of glasses. I was undecided when I got to her and she has the eye for it lol.

I didn't get the gentleman name that helped me today. I came in cause my puppy broke my glasses after just getting them for a month now. The cost for new pair was not in my budget. This gentleman was my angel for me to be able get a new pair in 2 weeks. Thank you from bottom of my heart.

I'm usually not petty and ALWAYS have all the patience in the world. However I had a terrible experience there when I went today only to pick up glasses. The 3 girls that were working out front had no customer service whatsoever. One even going so far as to rolling their eyes and giving blatant attitude to another customer when she was asking questions. Then that same person and the other girl (I don't know names) that were working the desk were arguing with each other in front of a whole room of people. Mind you I sat in a chair about 20 minutes just waiting to pick up glasses. The girl that fits you with them had two other customers before me. Again I had all the patience in the world. However, when she was done with them, she continued on to have a conversation with one of the customers. Nothing about work. Comparing necklaces, talking about their lives and so on. Finally I'm told I can go have a seat to get my glasses fitted. So I go and sit. This lady continues to talk to the lady that was already helped. I sit there about another 10 minutes. Mind you I have my toddler out in the car with my mother in law thinking this was going to be an in and out thing. As I'm sitting waiting the worker leans on the counter, continuing to talk to this other girl. Rather than help the people that haven't been helped yet. So I nicely went up to the lady at the desk and asked if I could just get my glasses and go as I live 45 minutes away and work Monday through Friday. I'm not up this way often. And like I said, my toddler was having a fit in the car. She responded very snottily with "Well, I can't touch you or your glasses. You can't just take them, so you will need to wait." Just walks away. I'm like okay but I'm not going to wait for their conversation to get over when I have things I need to be doing. Had the worker been actually helping someone never would I have thought twice. However it was VERY rude to continue conversation when you have other customers. Do that stuff off the clock. Once the lady was done conversating, she came over and asked my name. Again she took her sweet time. Once she handed me the glasses I was very agitated and put them on and just left. I have never had a bad experience with visionworks until now. I don't know if it's because it's the weekend and there may not be much supervision but the lack of customer service shown from those 3 individuals was appalling. I will be calling during the week and asking to speak to whoever I need to to make sure these workers are held accountable. Nobody has the right to treat customers the way they did. And like I said it was NOT only me. And thank you to those that I have seen in recent appointments that were absolutely amazing. My recommendation to anyone that goes here would be to go during the week if possible to avoid being treated as poorly as those of us were today.

Just had a great visit at Vision Works and was able to get my new prescription and order a couple pair of glasses! The doctor was awesome and the crew out front was very helpful in getting me to pick out some glasses and then getting them ordered! Great first visit! Everyone was knowledgeable and very, very friendly. I recommend Highly.

Service was fast and friendly. The front desk helped me sign in and get started right away they knew everything my insurance would cover and did all tests available. The Dr. Was awesome very fast and thorough work and pleasant to speak with. Was able to get my new glasses picked out and ordered everything was explained very well it was one of the best visits I've had at any office.
