Dr. Sheren compieted an exam on my mother and saw what he thought was a potential stroke occurring, which led to her going to the ER. An MRI confirmed a stroke in the ocular nerve which was treated timely. His exam and attentiveness to the urgent issue controlled what could have been a life changing issue, thank you very much from our family!

Terrible experience today. The front desk staff doesn't have a clue what is going on. Plus they are rude as can be. I waited 45 minutes for my appointment only to be told i was seeing a specialist and had to pay extra for just a prescription for eye glasses. Which when i called that is what i said i was coming in for i believe i needed reading glasses. After wasting an hour there i walked out without seeing the dr. I would not recommend at all.... go to mattituck north fork optical. I went there after and was able to get an appointment that afternoon as they had a cancellation. The staff was amazing friendly and wonderful. I got my eye exam , picked out glasses and walked out within an hour.

My spouse waited weeks for appointment. We sat in the waiting room for 2.5 hours. Then he was told he would have to come back for and see another MD to update his glasses prescription. Real shame, this was a good practice when it was East End EyeAssociates. Don't waste your time or money visiting this place.

Update, it is almost impossible to get the office staff to do what you request. While trying to transfer records to another doctor this staff needed to be called multiple times even after completeing a record transfer form. While the doctors here are good, this office staff will make me think twice before I give them a recommendation. Too bad ProHEALTH Care Associates, LLP dosen't care enough to hire competent office staff. The way this records transfer request is being handeled is embarassing. Clean facility, appointments later in the day require longer waits.

My husband, a compromised senior, was scheduled for cataract surgery with Dr. Hamou at the surgical center. By the way we have been patients of his for at least 18 years and he knows all about his health problems. He was told no eating after 12:00 and be at the clinic at 11:30. He needs to eat on a schedule. At 12:30 he asked the woman working in the waiting room when he would be going in? She said there was another patient before him, but there were 4 more in pre-op and he was running behind and had a student ( daughter) which was adding to the delay! And it would be 3 or 4 more hours before his surgery! We had to leave because he couldn't wait without food! You would think the Dr would have sent someone out to tell us the situation! The next day a nasty assistant ( they're all nasty in the office) called to reschedule and my husband said wouldn't, she said I'll cancel all you appointments and hung up. This office got too important and it's a zoo! I don't recommend going there, when there are other eye centers in the same vicinity!

There are reasons why this facility only receives two stars. The health care is eventually okay but the administration of this health care is disorganized and inefficient. Tried them and left. Tried them a 2nd time and finally left. So unless you have extra time and money to waste.....

The receptionists do not understand the logic involved in making an appointment. After waiting weeks for a regular exam, my appointment was suddenly "missing" from the calendar. Then, after rescheduling a month later it was in the wrong location. I had to take time off of work to make this appointment and was unable to be seen. This may be the worst run business I have ever encountered. Save yourself the pain and avoid them at all costs.
