Brighton Vision

Could not be more pleased with my choice to give Brighton Vision a try. Dr. Archer was so easy to work with. There were plenty of choices of frames to choose from. The eye exam was done thoroughly and it was the first time I felt comfortable and not rushed while doing the #1 or #2 test. She made quick work of pulling up my insurance information and was very clear in explaining what my coverage was. Almost all the negative reviews are from a previous owner of the business. So disregard them and give Brighton Vision a chance. I think you will be as happy as I am with my choice. Oh and Dr. Archer also has excellent music taste, so listening to The Beatles while looking for frames was a bonus :)

Spacious, clean optometry office with a nice selection of frames. Though, the staff here is what won me over. Dr. Kim was very nice, knowledgeable, efficient, and professional. Sharon, the optician, was essential in helping my pick out the right frames. I had six pairs that I picked out, but none felt like the one. I asked Sharon if she could suggest some, and she picked the winning frames. She definitely has an eye for this. She fit them to my face very well too. I left a very satisfied customer.

Spent the better half of the afternoon trying on each pair of glasses in the store with Chuck and Eric after an eye exam with the lovely Dr Archer - lots of laughs and finally found the perfect pair for me. I will certainly be back and can't recommend them enough!

Convenient location with parking. Easy to get an appointment. Takes many insurances, including VSP and Fidelis. Large selection of frames at competitive pricing vs. Online sites like Zenni. I'll be back with the rest of my family. Dr. Archer is the best!

My dad's glasses lost a screw while on a trip to see me in Rochester. I called Brighton Vision and they answered happily, asked us to come in, and put a little screw in the glasses for free. Nice people, incredible service. Really made our day. Thank you Brighton Vision!

The lady at the desk told me my prescription was expired and gave me a hard time about it. So I followed up with my doctors office and sure enough it wasn't expired. I gave Brighton vision a call just to let them know what was going on and the manager had multiple invalid/non related excuses ("That doctor doesn't even practice anymore, that's not how your doctor did it in the past"). The good part about them turning me away is that I Found the same frames I wanted at Walmart for 1/3rd the price!

I got glasses here a year go. They had to remake them twice because the lenses were not suited for my eyes. Thats fine, but the glasses I got were not scratch resistant like i payed for. I have never had glasses scratch this easily ever. And after the clear annoyance they had with having to redo my glasses twice before, I don't feel comfortable coming back to them again. I'm just not going to go here again.

We've been going here for the kids for the past few years, it was just ok. Went with my son last week. Great experience. There is a new owner who was great. Hours are much better. Great vibe. Very helpful in us picking out frames and working with my teenager who was very picky.
