Cornerstone Eye Associates

The worst experience i have ever had. We went in for our exams which was the only positive part. When we came back for the glasses one script had issues which caused blurry vision and the feeling of falling. It took a week to get back in to have a evaluation done. We finally got the new glasses after a month and the person told me that she knew the old pair would cause an issue because the 2 lenses were very different. The staff gave us issues with picking up the glasses and had an attitude that we wanted to pick them up. DO NO GO TO THEM.

I had a 2:00 pm follow-up appointment at Cornerstone Eye Associates. After waiting 45 minutes, (thinking I may have been forgotten?) asked the receptionist about my appointment. I was told that they had an emergency. So here are my questions for Cornerstone: if pitching your business as "caring and professional" then why are patients not told that they maybe waiting for hours before being seen by their doctor? Staff can't communicate this to patients? What does another patient's emergency surgery-have to do with me and my appointment? I would much rather be given the opportunity to reschedule than sit in a waiting room for an hour or more. I can't go back to work and tell my boss I'm a few hours late because my appointment was longer than expected - someone was having emergency surgery. I have never experienced such a lack of communication and poor customer service from other eye care providers as I have with Cornerstone.

Met with Sam first. She was very friendly, professional and explained each test she was doing. Then met with Dr Parks, as always friendly, professional and very detailed with explanations regarding next steps. Was quick to respond when I had a question after appointment. Entire staff have always been friendly and quick to help.

The entire staff was welcoming, friendly, and professional. Chelsea did the original prep/exam and then I saw Dr. Melissa Herman. Both were great. They were sociable, listened well to my concerns and explained things clearly. At check out the front desk staff were nice to deal with too.

The doctor care is reasonably good, but there operations are very poor. They booked me for a 3PM appointment but I didn't see the doctor until 5:10pm. If it were a one off thing I'd understand, but on my first visit I waited for about 2.5 hours. I asked someone why they were repeatedly late and they said it was because the doctor is in surgery in the afternoon. They should book patients for an appropriate time.

Techician Angela was a great technician and a wonderful person. I appreciated her empathy during an uncertain time.

On Sept. 10, 2024, my very first visit with Cornerstone Eye Associates, I was introduced to so many caring individuals. The receptionist was so welcoming. Gerard was the one taking care of me with my eyes and all the drops to see if cataract surgery is needed and it is. Then after seeing Dr. Park and he had looked deeper into my eyes. I saw the scheduling coordinator Stefania, my surgery will start left eye first in January, 2025, right eye in February, 2025. I had a wonderful new experience with this office and very welcoming besides. I am so grateful that Cornerstone Eye Associates will take me to a comforting level and experience to make my eyes see better again. Thank you so much for taking such good care of me today.

I've been a patient at gates cornerstone I associate for many years and because I needed to get in as soon as possible I went to the Titus office The office is a bit smaller, but everyone was really friendly from start to finish. My appointment felt fabulous. It was a pleasure to meet the nurse as well as Dr. Clark.
