Dr. Joan Kaplow, O.D.

I am 71 years old and have had a lazy eye all my life. I have repeatedly asked opticians in the many visits I have made them if they have found a cure for Amblyopia and they've always said no. About a month ago, at a routine eye exam, I was told about Dr Kaplow so decided to make an appointment. I was given a test where I was shown a 3D fly picture and asked to pick it up by its wings. Couldn't do it. Dr Kaplow gave me a number of exercises to do on my computer and phone, (all on youtube) which I did for 20 minutes twice a day for a month. I went for a second exam today, and did the fly test again, and for the FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE I HAD 3D VISION! It's not perfect, and the eye is weak, but its given me the encouragement to persevere with these exercises. This is the most exciting thing that has happened to me is years. Thank you!
