Kenneth Lindahl, MD

Dr Lindahl was on call for emergencies over Christmas. Our daughter-in-law arrived in Rochester from Colorado without her luggage and contact lens supplies. Her specialty lenses required a special apparatus for safe removal. On Christmas night Dr Lindahl patiently talked her though the issue and alternatives and offered to arrange for care the next day. Dr Lindahl is not our personal ophthalmologist. Still, he went well above and beyond what we expected to put all of our minds at ease.

Dr. Lindahl is a great caring doctor. I had been diagnosed with glaucoma by an OD an when I got a second opinion he found I did not have glaucoma and took me off 3 drops per day. He is a fantastic ophthalmologist.

Dr. Lindahl is the Ophthalmologist for the Rochester Eye and Laser Center. He is my doctor and has been for the last 4 years. He is a compassionate and caring physician. He found a mistake my previous OD made with my eyes and got me off of 3 eye drops per day. I trust him implicitly with the care of my eyes.

I went to my optometrist for an eye exam. He said he was certain that I had a disease called keratoconus. Him being an optometrist, he could not diagnose me so therefore I had to go to an opthamologist. Dr lindahl confirmed the diagnosis. But gave me little information on my diagnosis and spoke in "doctor" terms which made it hard to understand. He had no follow up appointment for me and told me they would "monitor" it. He stated the surgery that I would need is not FDA approved and I would have to go to Toronto to get the surgery and pay out of pocket since it wouldn't be covered by insurance. Upon research, I discovered they surgery had been approved by the FDA for 3 years (2016) and that you could have the surgery done within the state I live in. He gave me misinformation and was also very lackadaisical on my dengerative, potienally blinding eye disease.

I've worked with Dr Lindahl 20 years. I recommend all my friends and family to him. My husband was legally blind after lasik sees 20/20.
