I just called about my other half to see if he had a free pair of glasses under his insurance but the lady gave me major attitude about it. Then says before I got off the phone oh his insurance isnt accepted here anymore with attitude. Its like she didnt like her Job. All I did was ask a question. Tried asking about where I could go and oh I dont know you have to call thw back of the card to find out and hung up on me

We were in Rochester from out of town and I sat on my husband's antique glasses, bending them terribly. Shaw's took us in and quickly fixed them while also giving us historical info on the frames! They were flexible, smart, and friendly. What a refreshing experience!

I like Shaw Opticians but what is in the air. Been coming for the past four years. Not sure what's going on with the lady Janet looking all weird and bothered by the exchange of the incorrect frame I came in about. Then she tried to get snappy about her not being the one that gave me the frame that I did not pick out. She stated "That was Liz not me I'm Janet." "We get that alot" as far as the two favoring each other in appearance. It was weird because I came in happy that it could be corrected not knowing she would greet me with attitude. Not certain if staff addressed her or anyone about the mix up but like I said I had no issue because when I called Shaw prior they said it can be corrected. I don't think I'll return after pick up because the tension was real. The expression on her face and her tone was obnoxious and disturbing. Maybe it was a hassle for her to do the switch now that I think of it. No excuses though on her behalf because customers look for professionalism when doing business. Not intimidation.

I Love this place. My daughter has been coming here and the staff and dr. are great! Everyone is friendly and nice and so helpful. Never a bad experience. My family have been going here for so many years my great great grandma went here, part of the reason we did and it was a great decision. Love you guys stay the same. Love the new look as well definitely an upgrade

We were visiting Rochester and my son lost one of screws for the nose pieces. Repairs kits did work out so we called Shaw and they fixed my son's glasses in a few minutes and even adjusted them! If I lived in the area I would go to Shaw. Great people there. Thanks.

I usually love it here but that Spanish lady at the front desk was rude and I came in waited and somebody that walked in she sat him down right away but of course they spoke the same language and then got rude with me because I said hey I was next like dang I been standing here

Shaw's Opticians is the most phenomenally professional business I have ever known. My children and I have appreciated the opportunity to be a part of such a great group of people. I am always treated as though I was the only one there! One little tidbit of information I came across, purely by chance, surprised even me. After eating the entire staff brush their teeth! I was inquiring and I was told that they do this because they work so closely with the clients and they don't want to offend anyone with stinky breath! Wow! Once I thought about it, it made perfect sense. Now I wonder ... Do other businesses have such a considerate rule for the benefit of their clients? Shaw's Opticians is by far the best business - bar none! I would challenge anyone to find a better business anywhere! For professionalism, kindness, great atmosphere, knowledge, consideration, joyful dispositions ..... I could go on and on! Shaw's is where I tell everyone to go for eyecare. Once you go, you will agree they are the best
