Dr Rafailov was great as well as his office manger Lisa and all of the staff. I had a need for an emergency visit the day before thanksgiving and not only were they able to fit me in but the care I received was excellent. Dr Rafailov listened to my concerns and then assessed me and presented the different options of care. He was very calm and very knowledgeable which took the edge off my stress. He performed the procedure and it was exactly how he explained it. If ever I have another eye issue I'm definitely going to see him!! Highly suggest him and his staff. Thank you.

Dr. Rafailov is not just an amazing surgeon but a real nice human being. My eye surgery went perfectly. He is professional, kind and explains everything to expect before, during and after surgery.
The office staff are fantastic! Everyone is so helpful, knowledgeable and patient. I was in both the Babylon and Smithtown offices where there was very little wait time.
From the second I stepped in the door for a consultation through my follow up visit after surgery, I had the best experience and feel cared for. Thank you so much.

When I requested an appointment prior to the normal post -op time frame, Dr. Rafailov fit me into his schedule. Office was nit run very efficiently. Spent two hours there. Waited and hour before I was even seen for a simple test. Once test was finally done I was directed to a different waiting room. I sat there fir another half hour until I got up and stood in hallway. Someone finally asked if they could help. I told them was waiting to see surgical scheduling person. They went down to that office. They came out and said everything was OK with the test and I could leave. I was very annoyed that they could have told me that 40 minutes ago instead of waiting around. On way out was stopped by someone else who asked if I was check out. I started complaing that one person didn't know what the other was doing. The office manager overheard my displeasure and tried to calm me down. She said she would go to scheduling office to see what's going on. She came back with scheduler who wanted to sit with me and set a date for surgery. I told her I didn't want to wait any longer and she could call me. She did in fact call later that day. This was one if the worst doctor office visits I have experienced. Very poor communication between people and if I didn't keep asking when someone would see me, I would probably still be sitting there.

I was very happy with the pre-op service from the time I met Dr Rofailov in October up to my surgery appt in March. The operation was a cinch and the Doctor explained everything to me all during the procedure. I appreciated his professionalism as well as his friendliness. His staff is friendly and helpful.
