Afran Scott I MD

Dr. Afran is a phenomenal doctor. He truly and deeply cares about all of his patients. We have been seeing him for over 30 years! Highly recommend to everyone!

Today I was there for an appointment for my 10 year old son we have to take a medical transportation because we are not that fourtnant so we were 30 minutes early never in my life have I experienced something like this I walk into the office and no one is to be found ( I guess it was lunch time ) a door opens and the doc himself pops out looks me up and down ( I'm covered with tattoos some on my face so I get it ) he asked do u have an appointment I said yes 1:00 he goes oh well I can't help you right now ( I indeed did NOT ask to be seen early at all ) I tired to say I'm early due to the transportation i take he didn't even let me finish and goes you have to wait anyway I have 2 people in front of you ( mind you I didn't even ask any of that and one was in the damn office not a patient or receptionist) I totaly feel it's a classier neighborhood and my tattoos and bi racial son didn't fit the docs liking and this was supposed to be my son's first eye glass exama and he was suppose to get glasses instead he was made very uncomfortable in the most u professional way

My wife and I took our son to visit Dr. Afran for an eye consultation based on a recommendation from my sister, who claims he is the best. I must say im so glad she told us about him because he was absolutely great. I was a bit nervous because my son is 3 years old and very active, but this Dr. Was super cool and very patient. He spoke to my boy and explained the process to make him comfortable. My son was not scared, and the visit was pleasant. The location was clean and kid friendly. I definitely recommend Dr. Afran Scott. Thanks, Dr. Afran!

Today was the first time I took my boys to see dr.Afran and I wish I heard of him before. It was such a great experience. Dr. Afran is very knowledgeable, took his time to do the exam and went above and beyond with it. He explained everything and was ready to listen and answer my questions and concerns.
