Dr. Slotnick is an absolute genius. She spent a total of 3 1/2 hours with me over two days pinpointing the exact source of my visual imbalance and writing a scrip that changed how I place myself in the world. I have an incredibly cognitively demanding job, and I am looking forward to reaping the tremendous benefits of her prescription. I was referred to Dr. Slotnick by my physical therapist, who thought vision might be contributing to my neck, back, and gait issues. I've been dealing with thoracic back and rib pain for over a decade and have tried just about everything such as rolfing, chiropractic care, acupuncture, massage therapy, and physical therapy, among others. Some helped a little, but most were temporary fixes that didn't have lasting results. I was honestly surprised to find out how much vision played a role in how my body was working and feeling. It's rare to find something that actually sticks. Working with Dr. Slotnick over several months has made a huge difference. Travelled from Toronto to see Dr. Slotnick. It was a worthwhile trip for me. I gathered a greater understanding of my unique challenges and also gain some help to improve my quality of life. Lastly, I had virtual support and a recommendation for a closer caregiver to help me as travelling to NY was not feasible as a long term solution, but also know that I am welcome back if the need be. Overall great experience.
