Vision World

This shop has a very large selection of glasses- much more than other optical stores. But it's the staff that really makes this place stand out. Every single person working there is warm and professional, and was so helpful in my search for the right glasses! I will definitely go back to VisionWorld when I need new glasses again, in the future.

I've been going here for years, but let several years lapse. When I finally got around to getting my eyes checked, I had a lot of eye strain and needed a totally new prescription. The eye doctor, Dr. Shin, was really helpful and very accommodating to my sensitive eyes. The staff was very kind and helpful as well, helping me to get my new glasses quickly. I feel so much better now that I have my new glasses!

Terrible system for picking out frames: they don't list prices (which are incredibly high) and people can't try them on by themselves. The system is: point to a frame you like, wait for them to hand it to you, ask price. If you don't like it, try the entire process again. And again. And again. For comparison, their competitor down the road has frames easily accessible for people to try on themselves, near mirrors. With all prices clearly listed. I went from almost getting a pair of glasses that I didn't like here to getting 2 pairs that I love 5 minutes down Central Ave, and paid much less in total. Do yourself a favor, don't go here. They'll sell you glasses, they just have a very complex system designed to make customers jump through multiple unnecessary hoops just to hide how much they're being ripped off.

Very inconsistent service and communication. The "fill in" optometrist was rude and made it obvious she was only there to do the bare minimum. Did not bother to read the medical form which listed eye meds etc. getting fitted for contacts is taking multiple visits "oh. You need a separate appointment for that". Then "just come in before 3". And then again "you need an appointment and there is a copay for training" One would expect some service when you spend $$$$ for 2 people . 2 pairs progressive glasses are pricey. The staff need to be consistent on what they tell a client. Our time has been wasted due to their poor customer service

I've been going to Vision World for a couple of years for my eye exams and have always had a positive experience. Dr. Carr is fantastic- she's very thorough and always takes the time to answer any questions I have. At my last appointment, I decided to try out contacts for the first time, which was a big step for me as I've always been terrified of them. Sandra trained me on how to put them on and take them off, and I can't express enough how patient and kind she was. She calmed me down when I was getting frustrated after being unsuccessful the first several times. We joked and laughed, and she made me feel really comfortable. Thanks to her, I was finally able to put on and take off the contacts after many tries. Vision World is a great place to go for eye care. The staff is friendly, and they have a wide range of options for glasses. I highly recommend them :)!!

Sandra was great. She helped me Check both my insurances to see which one would be cheaper. She didn't try to upset me an expensive frame - she was honest and helpful. My glasses were ready in less than a week. Highly recommend them for the friendliness of staff, great selection of product and prompt service!

I have been getting my glasses done at Vision World since I was a kid. I've tried a few other shops in the past few years, but always come back here. Great products and customer service.

The optometrist Dr. Carr gave a very thorough exam. The staff was very welcoming and helpful making sure that customers were greeted as they entered the place and helped in a timely manner. They were very helpful and patient in my selection of eyeglasses. I will definitely be returning here for my eye exam and glasses every year.
