I had an excellent experience at my recent visit! The entire staff was friendly, professional, and very welcoming from the moment I walked in. The office was clean, organized, and ran right on schedule. The doctor was incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I never felt rushed, and all of my questions were answered with patience and care. It's clear they truly prioritize their patients' eye health and comfort. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for top-quality eye care. Five stars all the way!

I am writing this complaint to warn others to be very careful when visiting this doctor's office. Despite having insurance, we were charged a large amount of money without clear explanation upfront. We were charged a $50 copayment, even though no one clearly explained the payment details at the beginning of the visit. Everything was discussed only after the services were already completed, which is unacceptable. Additionally, we were never given the option to see glasses that were covered by our insurance. Instead, the staff immediately showed us the glasses they recommended, which were not covered, clearly pushing their own products. As a result, I was charged $225 for just one pair of regular glasses. We should have been shown insurance-covered options first. When I spoke to the office manager about this, she told me that she didn't know i am a "union member "something that was never explained to me at the beginning. I told her that all copayments and insurance details should be clearly discussed before any services are provided, not after everything is finished. The office manager was very rude during this conversation. Later, she tried to apologize and said it was a "mistake," but this is not a simple mistake. I have since seen many similar complaints from other patients saying this office overcharges people. Unfortunately, even when the doctor witnessed the discussion with the office manager, he completely ignored the situation and did nothing to help resolve it. I strongly advise anyone going to this office to: Ask about all copayments and charges upfront Confirm what your insurance actually covers Insist on seeing insurance-covered glasses first before being shown their recommended (more expensive) options Be very careful, because this office appears to regularly overcharge patients and does not communicate costs honestly.

The staff was warm and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make sure I had the right fit for my glasses. If you need an experienced Dr and staff for your eye care needs this is the place to go to.

This place is extremely money hungry and the "doctor" Blazier is like one of those high school mean girls. She has such terrible bedside manners. I went there to get a form filled out for work. I called before I went and emailed my form to the receptionist to make sure the doctor could fill it out. They told me yes. When I got there, I handed the form to the receptionist and had them show it to the doctor to make sure before I wasted my time. They reassured me that the doctor would fill it out. I go in to see her, she confirms my diagnosis and she says "let me see your little form" in a condescending manner. I show it to her then all of a sudden after they charged my insurance for the visit and got paid, she says she doesnt fill out forms. Huh? Thats the only reason I was there. I insisted that she fill it out then she says ok but she cant do it then because she is too busy and its not her job. It was literally three short questions but her highness the eye "doctor", couldnt be bothered. I have never heard of a doctor who doesnt fill out forms unless she isnt in fact a real medical doctor maybe an optometrist. Then she walks me over to her in office eye glass store (more money grab) where they tried to sell me $450 pair of prism glasses. When I said I wouldn't purchase them, the doctor no longer had the desire to serve me. The next day, I had to call TEN TIMES to get my form back. It was due by 4pm I got it back at 3:30ish. She filled it out incorrectly, im guessing to be spiteful like the mean girl bleach blonde she is. When I gave my letter to the supervisor, she laughed and said that the doctor had written the word glasses on each line and she said "she must have really wanted you to buy her glasses lol". I went back to my old eye doctor and was able to get the form filled out correctly. I would recommend this office if you hate yourself and like being mistreated.

My husband and I have been coming here for the past 6 years or so and we absolutely love it . we see Dr Horowitz . he's very professional and very knowledgeable . his staff is super friendly and there is hardly never any wait time . Look no further if you need an eye dr south shore eye is the place to go and ask for Dr Horowitz

I have been using Dr Horowitz for over 35 years. Always a pleasure! Extremely knowledgeable and caring. The office personnel are super friendly and nice. A true gem of a place !!!

Went to this place because my Pediatrician recommended them. My daughter is 3 and her eyes are misaligned. They gave her glasses with a prescription. After our appt, I called them asking if they could email me or call me with an explanation to why she needed prescription glasses when she can see perfectly fine. They never called me back. I took her to a specialist eye doctor and turns out she doesn't need to wear glasses at all she just needs an eye patch. Thank god the prescription did not ruin her perfect vision. They also tried to upsell me the expensive kid glasses rather than offering me the glasses covered by my insurance. When I asked for the insurance glasses they told me they couldn't offer those to me because this is the second time I saw the doctor in a year I had to wait until my year one visit. I told them that makes no sense cause I am eligible for glasses since I never bought them the first time. Turns out I was correct.
