If I could rate Visionworks 0 stars I would. I made an appointment for 3:15 for an exam that included a contact fitting. When I arrived at Visionworks I waited over 40 minutes to be "seen". When I walked into the room I was informed my appointment was a Telehealth appointment. I was not informed of this ahead of time. When I questioned this the person that took me back informed me I should have seen that I signed up for a virtual appointment. I had several emails and texts from Visionworks and none of them indicated the appointment was virtual. This felt like a bait and switch. I don't know how I could do a virtual contact fitting. I suspect because there was no doctor on staff in person that day I would have been asked to come back for the fitting. Overall my experience was a giant waste of time and I won't be coming back.

Got my 2 pairs quicker than the estimated time, so there's that. But you'd think for $600, they could give you a lens cleaning cloth with each pair purchased

Not sure why I made an appointment. I came in ahead of time for my appointment, and still had to wait almost 2 hours to finally order and pay for my frames. Meanwhile multiple people walked in without appointments and got bumped ahead in the queue. I will not be going back, and I can't recommend them in good conscience. *I did want to edit this review because the staff themselves were not the issue! It was clearly a management issue where they were severely understaffed. All the staff I interacted with were quite friendly and doing their best and they were not setup for success

My appointment was at 10:15 and I was done by 11:15. With a couple, routine test, eye exam, ordering and paying, I thought it was a good experience! The 2 ladies and Dr., I had were very nice and professional!

Went in for exam and new contacts. Doctor determined that there was no change to my current prescription and offered me a pair of contacts (exact same script and brand as I currently have) to put in after my exam. When I went to cash out, the woman said a box of 12 contacts would be $179, but my insurance covered $150. Fine. And then, in addition to the charge for the contacts, exam and eye test (which I was advised of the cost with insurance, so no surprise there), I was told I also owed $42.50 for "the fitting," which was apparently the cost of accepting the two contacts the doctor gave me to put in my eyes after my exam (and not covered by insurance). What a scummy business practice. Not only that, but after I left, I checked the price of a box of 12 contacts for the exact same script and brand they charged me/my insurance $179 for, and found them for $106.99 on LensDirect (and similar prices on other online sites). This place is a total cash grab. Use your own judgment, of course, but I'd certainly look elsewhere for eyecare. First and last visit here for me.

My vision is HORRIBLE and I have dealt with glasses and contacts forever. Unfortunately, I've had bad experiences at many places, and getting glasses that I can actually see correctly out of, seemed impossible. When I came here, I had my doubts because of these past experiences. I got my script from Pearle Vision in Williamsville (where I get my contacts- EXCELLENT there) and brought it here to be filled (better deal on glasses). The combo is perfection!! A kind woman helped me find a pair that sat correctly on my face. I picked up my glasses yesterday and I can see! My ten year old son just got glasses here too. So glad we came here. No complaints.

My shopping experience could not have gone better. It was so smooth and easy. A great staff and I'm thrilled with my choice of glasses

Took me forever to put my contacts in for the first time but the staff was super nice and made me feel comfortable. Really nice staff and I LOVE having contacts! The doctor who checks your eyes is also very beautiful and very educated. She's really nice and makes the experience great!
