I used to be a patient of Dr. Purvin until 2009, when I started seeing an ophthalmologist after I experienced a bad case of viral and bacterial pink eye. I feel that Dr. Purvin tries his best, and is careful to refer his patients to a specialist when he isn't able to handle something. It is also convenient that his patients can select their eyeglass frames in the same office. I personally would still feel comfortable using his services if I didn't have another eye doctor closer to my house with more convenient hours.

I received a text , about reminded me to schedule an appointment oh my annual eye check up, which I did that week. I showed up just to be told that I cannot see the doctor until two weeks according to my plan which was not a problem but why send me a damn text message reminding me. I was totally annoyed and refused to make a new appointment will find somebody else. Come on people get it right

The quality of this practice has literally gone down the drain. I was a patient here with my entire family including my 5 kids for over 20 years. Ever since they moved to their new location it all went completely down hill. TERRIBLY rude and unprofessional secretaries, and the staff at large is just entirely inexperienced, unknowledgeable and not wanting to accommodate patients. The parking is absolutely horrendous. So sad what has happened to this once-great medical practice.
