Jerry D'Aversa, OD

Dr Jerry Daversa very rude, arrogant, disrespectful and unprofessional walked into the room while I was on the phone trying to get referral his front desk receptionist asked for. Was very upset I was on the phone slammed folder on desk yells out I'm not examining you because you're on you phone. I could not believe his temper. His assistant comes back and says can you put your phone away he's coming back, so I did. He returns as if nothing happened sat in his chair crossed his legs and asked how's everything. I told him he was very rude and I explained I was in the phone trying to get his referral so he can get pay. He looked straight in my face and said he did not feel bad and he would do that to any of his patients even family members. I could not believe it! I was scold as if I did something bad. His assistant witnessing all this definitely felt bad. I feel bad for staff and wonder if I was a man if he had treated me the way he did. Seems he has anger, no self control and definitely temper issues.

Dr. D'Aversa was terrific. He was knowledgeable, sensitive, informative! I immediately felt at ease and confident that I was receiving optimal eye care. Walked away, very impressed with the overall experience. HIGHLY recommend!
