I had a really great experience with Dr. Abu Siddik at Valley Stream Eye Care. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and organized, and the wait time was reasonable. Dr. Siddik was thorough, patient, and took the time to explain everything clearly instead of rushing through the appointment. He answered all my questions, walked me through the exam results, and made sure I understood my options without any pressure. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and wants the best outcome for their eye health. The exam felt very detailed and professional, and I left feeling confident about my care plan. The office itself is clean, well-run, and easy to navigate. Highly recommend Dr. Abu Siddik if you're looking for an eye doctor who is knowledgeable, attentive, and respectful. Definitely a five-star experience and will be returning.

I haven't had an eye exam in years and the staff made my experience comfortable. The doctor, Dr. Abu Siddik, expressed that he was fairly new and did a great job explaining all of my complications. Will definitely go back and recommend him to other!

I couldn't give them less then a star, I've been getting eye exams for 18 years straight now. Never in my life have a waited past an hour to be seen by a doctor then my scheduled appointment time. If you have time to sit around this is your place to go ! Other than that the eye exam was pretty standard .

Great and professional service. Wait was not long at all, and support staff was excellent as well. The doctor is professional and gives his advice/diagnosis candidly in way that is easy to understand. This is my go-to spot for all my eye-doctor needs!

Sorry but not a great experience monetary wise. I was called 15 minutes after my appointment time which is not a big deal because there are places which have you sit for hour or even 2 hour so 15 minutes is not a big fuss. Doctor was great too. The only issue was that I told the receptionist clearly that I only need annual checkup same as I told them over the phone, she gave me bunch of papers some of which want me to sign for a service for an amount. I didn't sign those and I told her need that I need to know what I will be paying and services that requires payment I don't want them, she told me that I will be told if I have to pay based on services determined. Again I told her that insurance companies are tricky and I don't want to pay so don't add any service which I'm required to pay. She acknowledge and repeated "yes I know insurance companies are tricky". Until this time every thing was so clear, at least that's what I thought. After my appointment they told me I have to pay 90$. Never ever in my life time I pay that kind of money even to a specialist. I went for normal annual checkup that only cost 15$ copay else where and they extorted 90$ out of me...I still can't believe it.

Appointment was okay, very quick. Called back a year later to get the numbers from my prescription so I could buy OTC while out of the country, and they refused to give them to me. Terrible policies and customer service. They wanted me to come in for another appt! I called an Opthalmologist I used years ago and they immediately gave me my old numbers and were shocked with my treatment. Don't think I'm coming back to here or Lenscafters. Thought this was supposed to be the premium experience.

Horrible and concerning experience with Dr. Cheung today. Lack of knowledge and professionalism and very uncomfortable experience between him my wife and daughter this evening. I will be following up and filling a formal complaint about this office. We will make sure people receive proper care and service when visiting this office. I sure hope this feedback makes the page as the rating on the website does not reflect the experience. I'm also going to reach out to insurance company as it's our opinion we were not serviced at all. He even had to be compelled to give proper eye exam. Im going to follow up with this office. I'm very very concerned about today. If I could give negative stars that would be appropriate.

As usual Dr Cheung does his best to maintain standards of patient care and keep his patients comfortable with treatment. I was recently discharged from hospital stay and showed concern with my health while taking time to address my optical needs. Excellent decision I made with choosing a provider. Would refer everyone!
