Vistasite Eye Care of Valley Stream: Yuliya Bababekova, OD

This review is based on the manager Jasmin . On Thursday February 26th I had a scheduled ophthalmologist appointment. The doctor was pleasant and professional. After the appointment I went to the front desk to order my contacts. The sales associate had a pair of glasses waiting at the counter for me to try on. I told her I really only wanted the contacts I normally get but would try the glasses on. Nicole I must add is really good at her job and tried to up sale me on glasses. In the end we ordered both but prior to leaving I told her you know I only wanted the contacts. I called an hour later and told her not to process the glasses because they were not needed . Nicole stated she would put the order on hold until I came back in which we agreed would be Monday. On Monday at 12:26 I called the store and asked her about the hold . I told her I only want the contacts as discussed on Thursday. She said I would have to come in and speak to the manager . I came in an hour later and met with the manager Jasmin. I repeated I only want the contacts to which she replied she had just placed the full order. She stated that she made a mistake and placed the order. I asked Nicole who was standing there had she indeed placed it on hold to which she replied yes. She said she put everything on hold the day we spoke. The manager asked if I would like to see other glasses to which I stated no again. Jasmin ( manager ) stated she would call the lab to have it corrected. I waited in the store for 2 hours. She said she had to wait for the lab manager to call her back. She stated that only the lab manager could cancel her mistake. We agreed she would let me know the next day. I called the next day around 11am she stated she would try to reach them again. I called back at 12:46 pm asking for an update. She stated she did not hear an answer yet. I asked her is there another manager she could talk to . I asked was this a vendor they normally work with she stated yes. I said I may have to look into a legal dispute as I am not getting any satisfactory answers. She then yelled at me and stated I was being desperate and slammed the phone closed. If this is the type of management that is hired at vista site I encourage others not to give their business to this location. To have the audacity to yell at a customer for wanting clarification on a mistake a manager made is unprofessional and should be dealt with at there corporate office. This manager is reflection of the company. I will not do business where I am disrespected. I have yet to get an answer. I contacted the credit card company and the BBB. I will also forward a message to the vista site headquarters .

Dr B was totally amazing with my daughter she told me things that I wasn't aware of and made me truly comfortable. I'm going to be recommending everyone in my family to come to this location.

The care I received from the entire team was exceptional. They are professional and attentive. My husband and I always feel welcomed when we come for our appointments. I'm completely satisfied with my new pair of glasses, made just for me. Thank you!

Terrible service waited 2 hours before I could see the doctor, then another 2 hours to order glasses, I really needed to renew my prescription or i would have left, ordered to glasses waited and no one called to say items were ready for pickup. I have gone to lenscrafter and I will be going back the next time in need glasses, glasses are the same at both place but vistasite custom service is terrible

My experience was exceptional. The doctor made me feel very comfortable with my exam and educated me on eye care. Nicole was amazing she patiently worked with me when I was unsure of what glasses to pick she listened to my concerns and provided insight that made me feel comfortable to make my choice. She also looked out for me when it came to prices. Overall I had an amazing experience

Been going to this location for a few years and the experience is always pleasant. Sharon is always incredibly helpful everytime I go. She remembers me everytime and even remembers glasses I have purchased in previous years. Even this year she recommended glasses that they didn't have in store at the moment but was able to order it for me, shown me alterations I was able to do it them and recommended a blue light filter because my job requires to look at screen 8+ hours day. Will keep going to her.
