I recieved Lasik and it was such a game changer! Being able to see with no glasses or contacts has been amazing. Great customer service! Was so quick and easy. Jodi Abramson is great as well!! She was very gentle and no pain at all!! The staff was very kind and made you feel at easy with the procedure! 10/10 recommend for sure!

I'm a (CXL) Cornea Cross-linking Patient with Keratoconus. Dr. Abramson went out of her way to make sure I felt confident in my knowledge of the procedure and its importance for my specific case of Keratoconus in each eye. She truly listened to me and made a treatment plan that would maximize my quality of life between treatments and helped me to weigh and balance my options based on her expert opinion. The truth is, CXL won't help me to see better most likely. And I'm so grateful for this surgeon's honesty. She helped me set my expectations about outcomes and made it clear she's just a text or call away if I'm ever concerned. Dr. Avila was the Optometrist who evaluated my candidacy. She was very kind and answered all of my questions. Samantha reviewed my financial options and I was treated with kindness by Karla (the technician who took my measurements and assisted with my procedure) and the front desk staff at each visit.Their team has great synergy from the front office to the surgical suite. I've only know myself to have Keratoconus for 2 months and it took the expert care and consideration of four practitioners to get me to this sight-preserving surgery. I urge anyone in the New York tri-state area to make an appointment and learn about their approach. NOTE: Because their machine is not FDA approved you will have to come out of pocket, but the surgery costs the least her office could reasonably charge and it covers follow up appointments for your recovery period. Additionally, Dr. Abramson is a pioneer in the space of CXL having participated in clinical research/trials over the years. She thoroughly understands the procedure for sensitive and complex cases. She goes for what works even when the US is behind the global standard of practice/care. I'll update with how things are going at each milestone (this is 2/19...4days post op).

Dr. Jodi Abramson truly changed the course of my life. After living with severely bad vision since grade school, I had never experienced the world as it was meant to be seen even with my glasses/contacts. 2 prior surgeons told me I was not a candidate for corrective surgery due to the severity of my prescription and astigmatism. Dr. Abramson changed that narrative. As of today, I am seeing the world and all of its beauty crystal clear which I never dreamed was possible! The entire staff was incredibly kind, supportive, and patient throughout every step of the process. The office has an upscale, luxury feel and is immaculate, which only adds to the level of comfort and professionalism. Dr. Abramson is an extremely kind and friendly woman, and reassured me from the time leading up to my surgery to a few days after. I've been wearing glasses since I was a little girl, so being able to see 20/20 without glasses or contacts is absolutely amazing and Dr. Abramson did such an amazing job! She explains everything that happens before and during the surgery so you know what to expect. I would recommend her to anyone-- the entire office is very warm and inviting, and they will make sure you are 100% comfortable with everything that they will do!

I had my LASIK consultation about three weeks ago, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. I wasn't sure whether I wanted monovision or full distance correction, but Dr. Giodana Avila was amazing--she clearly explained the differences and answered all of my questions. She even gave me a pair of contact lenses to try monovision. After trying them, I still had a few more questions, and Erika, the practice manager, personally called me and made sure Dr. Avila addressed every concern I had. I had my LASIK done yesterday, and Dr. Jodi Abramson was hands down incredible! She called me the day before surgery to confirm everything and answered any questions I had to ensure monovision was truly what I wanted. During the procedure, she explained each step as it was happening and even did a countdown throughout, which helped me feel completely at ease. Her bedside manner is truly top-notch. I honestly wish I had done LASIK years ago! I would 1000% recommend Laser and Corneal Surgery Associates, and I would absolutely recommend Dr. Abramson to anyone considering LASIK.

Dr. Jodi Abramson is truly the best there is! The technology used was of the highest quality and extremely modern. All of the staff was kind, helpful, and created a warm atmosphere. The operation itself was seamless and I was able to see upon sitting up, which was a drastic change considering how high my prescription was. I would definitely recommend!

My appointment was very pleasant. The staff were very cordial and attending. They took me in and did what they had to do. Explained everything prior to performing the test made me feel less anxious. The whole LASIK was also explained thoroughly and the Doctor answered all my questions professionally. Would highly recommend this establishment.
