I usually don't write reviews, but I couldn't believe the treatment my elderly mother and aunt received today. When I got on the phone to help them and speak with the owner, he was rude, aggravated, and clearly didn't want to deal with our insurance. If that's the case, why do they even accept it?
Please be cautious when considering this place--this is the owner, and this is how he treats his customers. Horrible customer service. He is definitely an angry person.

I came to this spot after having a bad experience at a different eye place in white plains. I can honestly say they do a wonderful job here, I even had my dad come here (Spanish speaker only) and the receptionist was so kind and patient in regards to communicating with my father and his results. Loved my experience here! Just went for the first time this week and they were able to get me an appointment immediately. The staff was incredibly friendly when I arrived, I was in and out in 15 minutes for an eye exam and I will return for every visit going forward. Had horrible experiences at LenCrafters and switched to Mendel Optical. Best decision ever!

Horrible customer service. I spoke to a man on the phone today 1/30 to try to set up an appointment. The representative in question asked whether I was arranging this through a union or insurance. I clarified that it was through insurance, but he seemed to have missed my response and asked the question again with a noticeable attitude. He later informed me that my insurance wasn't accepted and as he hung up, I overheard him expressing frustration with our conversation by uttering an exasperated "Jesus. The guy on the phone needs an attitude check.
