Walker Eye Care

Dr Walker is such a great professional. I have been seeing him for a number of years. I appreciate that he has the latest high tech equipment. Also although I do not purchase my glasses from him which is where the profit comes from, he does not treat me differently compared to some others who give second rate service if you don't get glasses from them.

Called to see about getting my son's glasses repaired - nose cushion fell off. We hadn't even gotten them from Walkers but they were so warm and welcoming from the moment I called to ask if they could repair them. Very nice staff and clean, comfortable waiting area. Good selection of frames for all walks of life. Will definitely be making appointments here for all our family's eye care needs. Thank y'all so much!

I have known Mr walker all my life and he has always treated his patients with respect. Today is no different I came in early and they fit me right in and got me out. He has awesome staff! They explained everything to me like I was there first ever patient. Thanks so much!

Great! They accepted my Medicaid (Trilium), to set up a first appointment you may have to wait a few months unfortunately but I got lucky and was able to be seen a few weeks after calling. The staff and the doctor were all very polite, I didn't have to wait long at all in the waiting room before I was called back, the exams went by very quickly and probably less than 30 minutes after walking through the door I was picking frames for my glasses! My experience was great!! Only things I don't like are the fact you'll probably have to wait 3 months for an appointment and then you'll have to wait 1-2 months for your glasses which isnt their fault so I won't hold it against them. It's been almost a month and I still haven't received my glasses but I was told ahead of time it should take around 6 weeks. I can't wait to be able to see perfectly

Absolutely impressed! We had went to Randleman eye center for years and they got bought out by a corporate entity and the customer service had went down hill for years so we gave Walker Eye care a try and could not be happier! I joked with the doc one morning about how great the coffee smelled because I had just gotten off the night shift and next thing I know he drops what we were doing and walks me into the break room and makes me a cup of coffee! The girls are all super sweet and helpful as well from the check in process to the ordering and picking up of eye glasses. My wife went too and was also pleased with the entire crew. Glad we gave Walker a try and definitely will recommend them to anyone who asks!

I have been a patient of Dr Walker for many years. He is very honest and truthful. He doesn't hold things back and will tell you like it is. They have just moved to their new office on S Cox St so their is more room. Friendly staff that care.

I set up an appointment here months ago after my husband saw them. They called me today to confirm my appointment and insurance, after which they immediately tell me they no longer take my insurance. My appointment was in 7 days and I scheduled it months ago. Ridiculous that they would schedule me, even more ridiculous that no one bothered to let me know until now that they decided not to accept my insurance anymore. And all I got was "oh someone should've told you" ??? Unprofessional honestly
