Kelly's frame selection skills are impressive! she helped me find the perfect fit. The team's passion for patients shines through in their professionalism, kindness and attention to detail. Having never been to an eye doctor before I was nervous and unsure. The moment I walked into Envision I was welcomed and immediately put at ease. I actually had such a great experience that I brought my children back for appointments as well! The doctors are professional, patient and made us all feel comfortable. They took the time to explain everything clearly and were great with my kids. The staff are all friendly and patient, especially with the difficult task of picking out glasses! My fees were also clearly explained to me and I never felt confused with billing. I highly recommend Envision to everyone!

I had the most thorough eye exam I've ever experienced at Envision EyeCare. I actually learned new things about my vision, which was really helpful for long term care and expectations. The whole team was friendly and helped me figure out exactly what I wanted/needed with no pressure (including whether to go with transitions). They even let me use my existing frames because I love them, and the turnaround on my lenses was super quick. Huge shoutout to Rachelle for getting me scheduled smoothly and making sure my insurance was used correctly. Highly recommend!

My son was getting eyeglasses for the very first time, and every single staff member went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, seen, and genuinely cared for. And River, who took the time to explain the process of getting glasses and helped my son find the perfect fit--one that made him feel more like himself and truly seen. Recently moved to AVL and needed a new eye doctor. I am so impressed by what these folks are doing. The doctor and clinicians were so thoughtful, thorough and had new technologies for testing. The physician-owner was lovely and gracious. The space is stunning. And then you get to selecting glasses! I have a very small head and am typically very limited in selection - even at boutique stores. This was just a phenomenal experience. Many unique options and a great gal who really spent the time with me to get my style and fit just right. Am so excited for my new glasses! Thank you

As a patient since last summer, I cannot recommend Envision Eye Care enough. (This goes beyond a Google review! I've been sharing my praise by word of mouth for months.) Every member of the Envision staff is attentive, patient, knowledgeable, and kind. I am not exaggerating when I say that every person I've interacted with continues to raise the bar for what exceptional care looks like. I want to give a special shout-out to everyone I've had the pleasure of working with: Rachelle, Gigi, Natalie, Jackie, Stephanie, Jenni, Dr. Flores, and Dr. Bryant. Each of you has helped me navigate confusing, scary, and complicated eye care with incredible patience and generosity. After reading some other reviews, I was surprised by experiences that didn't reflect my own. I do not have vision insurance this year, and I have had to manage a challenging year of eye care through my medical insurance. Envision is in-network for me, and throughout the entire process, the staff has been transparent every step of the way regarding costs and options (from initial visits and imaging decisions to specialty testing and frame/lens selection). I've felt empowered to make my own decisions about my care, with no surprises along the way. I was encouraged to browse frames at my own pace before receiving help from an optical expert, who was kind, helpful, and genuinely invested in helping me find frames within my budget, even without coverage for frames or lenses. The optometrists I've seen were incredibly generous with their time, patiently explaining every step of the exam to the point where I felt self-conscious for taking up so much of it. In short, I feel incredibly lucky to have found Envision Eye Care. I completely recommend them!

We were recently traveling through Asheville and I needed to find someone to repair my sunglasses. I found Envision and was treated like a long time customer when I stopped in to see if they could repair them. They happily did it on the spot and saved me from having to buy new lenses and frames.

I decided to write this review in case others would want to avoid this type of experience. First of all, the support staff is great here. Very professional and helpful. It's obviously a beautiful office. The review is about my experience with the doctors / how the practice is run. 1. Very expensive. I pay out of pocket and you can get more affordable and high quality care at other practices that include a retinal scan for example. (I called around.) 2. They push for increasing prescription strength. My vision adjusts and is very high so increases are at .5 each time (not .25). The doctor informed me he'd "let" me keep my contact RX after some back and forth on this topic. A rude phrase. I should have a point of view on my health. It's my body. I live with my eyesight and how it adjusts; not him. I have this convo with them every time I go, always feel pressured, and I will no longer go here based on the past experience. 3. Building on the above, I bought new glasses at warby Parker and was overwhelmed by the strength. He "let" me keep my contact rx but still increased my glasses. 4. Just too salesy. They drive people through this tunnel of a glasses consult and their products are SO expensive. 5. Walked out with a nearly $400 bill, no contacts, the wrong glasses RX and just felt like I paid this ridiculous life tax and my wishes were not heard. This is the problem with our healthcare system.
