The absolute worst eye glass experience I have eve had! First the eye exam was given by someone in another country that could barely speak english. I'm not even sure he was really a doctor. It sounded like a call center in other country. The sales woman was like a used car salesman. She spent to whole time trying up sale me to more expensive glasses I didn't need. Of course it was easy since none of the sales they advertise include any glasses anyone would want. She didn't seem to know what she was doing and definitely wasn't a new employee. Clearly all she was worried about was making as big a commision as she could. And when I requested my PD so I could purchase glasses online she tried to convince me that buying online wouldn't work? Then I beleive she gave me the wrong PD. When the order finally arrives, late as expected they didn't even have the frames I chose. I had to settle for whatever was available. Save your money. Go to a real eye doctor and then take that presciption to an online retailer. So many better choices for a quarter of the price.

I have gone to Stanton Optical over the past five years on several occasions to get exams, glasses and contacts for myself and children. Although some visits I have to wait a bit to be seen, I have found the wait is always worth it. The employees are friendly and helpful. They take the time with each customer to ensure the correct lenses, best prices and quality service is provided each time. Damian Rivera, Brand Manager, is always professional, kind, and extremely helpful in resolving issues and providing top-notch customer care. Highly recommend as a local, affordable option!

Had an eye exam on 12-31-2025 picked out the frames. Paid over $600.00 well they called and said they couldn't get the glasses fitted to the frames. So I went back and picked out another pair of frames. Got the call my glasses were ready. Went back today and they didn't even have the frames I picked out the 2nd time. Needless to say I had my money refunded. I will never recommend them to anyone. And I will never go back again. And even after all of this. I was still charged for the eye exam. So I would beware of Stanton Optical in Asheville NC.

This is an amazing eye place as they were very friendly, helpful, and explained the whole process. Gave us great service. Same day service can't beat it. Will definitely be bringing my whole family here from now on. My son loves his glasses and the service they gave him was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place. Love it.

Wonderful people work there and they will go out of their way to help you and I love the glasses that I got but there is no optometrist onsite. I didn't even know there wasn't an optometrist until a virtual doctor sent my prescription back. When it was brought to my attention that I wouldn't be seeing a doctor, they offered to throw everything out so I could go to a different place but I still got the glasses. And I see much better now so I'm happy about the glasses but not once did I ever read in any paperwork that I wouldn't be seeing an optometrist. I wouldn't have come if I had known there was no optometrist. I enjoyed working with the staff and they are awesome but I just wasn't comfortable asking certain questions.

I don't know where to start with my amazing experience with Stanton. I have macular degeneration. I wanted to get a new eye prescription.The exam was very professional.
I got a cool pair of glasses. After 5 days I wasn't adjusting. I went back met Nester.
