I am disappointed with my visit and wish I had not wasted my time. I went in for a ~1 1/2 year check-up and felt rushed. This visit is my only one with Dr. Mathys. He came across as curt and in a hurry to address my questions concerning acuity and my more troublesome effects with floaters (Asteroid Hyalosis) and move on. He told me that my prescription does not change after cataract surgery but that is not what I have found in research. I find the edges of things to appear fuzzy and less sharp around the edges. I do not recommend this doctor regardless of his surgery and thoroughness expertise.
