Dr. Petersen was amazing. After 3 opthamologists and two NPs, she recognized Sgoergins disease immediately and knew how to treat. In fact, an expert. She also found benign cysts behind one eye. Very impressive. She explained the different meds and we chose one of the newest. The reason for 4 stars is my extreme disappointment with how the office flew over a seriously important detail! They brushed aside my Medicare Supplementsl Aetna Insurance which I pay $95 s month to send mines through some 3rd party who said it could be 1-10 business days before I could get the Meds. They said at this office here, don't worry the most it could cost is $89 a month. They did not even offer me a choice. Scenario: I just walk out of an extremely serious diagnosis of an incurable eye disease. While dealing with that emotionally I am blind "no pun intended to what they just did. I am 70 yo and felt baboozled. I called the 3rd party and phone support rep did not know what to do. He had to talk to a supervisor to find out. All I asked was who has my prescription. Finally they said they had it. I told them I do not want My prescription in the hands of a third-party. I want my prescription sent to my local pharmacy immediately. They said they had set up the transfer for me, but it would be 1 to 3 business days before my Pharmacy would get it. Aren't there computers these days? As of the third day, my pharmacy had not received the prescription. So if I do not have it by Monday, two days from now, I will be calling the doctors office to write another prescription For my local pharmacy. Which was confusing because they asked me the name of my local pharmacy. So that was confusing from the get go. So, as for me, while I'm extremely happy to find this doctor, I'm extremely unhappy to see this treatment By the office, who I assume is assigned this process by the owner of Apex eye Associates. I suspectthat this third-party either gives some kind of a kickback to the business While the business passes it on to the customer. This is not acceptable, and the reason I'm taking so long to explain this, so that anybody reading this has a heads up on what's going to hit them after their doctor visit. Otherwise, highly recommend Apex eye Associates and Dr. Peterson.

My son was dealing with bad eyes inflammation and irritation, I have called many places and they had no opening for him until I called Apex Eyes Association and they scheduled him for the next day to be seen! The front desk people are very welcoming (Jamie, Rachel..) and Dr. Peterson was had so much patience with our son and took time to check him and helped soothe his pain, and guide us to the right specialist!!They were very patient and answered any questions from us! Thank you so much for having us! We appreciate you all!

Dr. Feng is amazing! He helped me made very informed decisions on the type of lenses for my cataracts surgery. He answered all my questions before and after the surgery. I highly recommend him if you are considering cataracts surgery.

I don't traditionally write reviews and this one is far overdue (like a year!). Strange accident, but my son had a stick scratch his cornea. Blurry vision with some pain. We walked in on a Thursday morning and were quickly seen by Dr. Petersen. She was amazing - provided a thorough check and assured us that this was treatable. My son was good as new in a few days and able to return to full activity. Looking to move our entire family here for eye care soon. Apex Eye Associates is truly top notch.

I originally went because there is glaucoma in my family. Dr Feng and his associates did a very thorough exam - explaining everything. They include a prescription for glasses for a few more $. So worth it. They checked and double checked my vision and measurements. Plus we talked about cataracts and droopy lids. They said I don't need surg for either. Yet. Best eye exam I've ever had.

I felt extremely And very much welcomed When I entered the clinic by the staffs. They were very kind, understanding, patient, and so professional! Dr. Petersen did such an amazing outstanding job For taking time to explain what the diagnoses are based on my eye condition without being rushed When I had a medical condition on my eye. She is very informative, very well experienced, and very articulate, and I could tell she has such a great passion for her job! I want to give a huge shout out to her for going above and beyond!

First time patient- they got me right in due to a cancellation- the Dr. was great - he took his time and explained the results of the exam in detail. He also offered several treatment options - there are a lot of eye clinics in the area - glad I found this one

If anyone needs an ophthalmologist, I highly recommend Dr. Peterson at Apex Eye Associates. She is highly knowledgeable and spends so much time with you. The office staff is also wonderful. So glad to have found them.
