Update 8/22: I was able to get in contact with customer service, and receive my glasses after 7 weeks after my initial order. My prescription sunglass lenses were extremely thick, and I was not given the option of an 'ultra thin lens' as I have at other eyecare centers. This resulted in a lens that is nearly as thick as my fingernail is wide (over 1in). The lens is very heavy on my face and uncomfortable. I do not like my glasses and have been told there is little that can be done to shrink the thickness of the lens. Again, I would not recommend ordering glasses here. I had an eye appointment on 6/18 that was very pleasant and professional. I was able to order my prescription sunglasses the same day, and was told the glasses would be in in two weeks, so the end of June. It is now August and my glasses have still not arrived almost 7 weeks later, with radio silence from the office. If I ever want an update (or lack of update) I have to call and inquire. If I didn't reach out, I wouldn't hear anything from the eyecarecenter. This is difficult as I like to support small businesses, but the lack of communication or physical pair of glasses is unacceptable. I'd recommend going for an exam, but I would not purchase or make an order with them.

Great location, plenty of parking, great staff, excellent choice of frames. Great ophthalmologist/optician they have full set of diagnostic equipment.

I love this office. They always get me in and out in a timely fashion. Dr. Barber is awesome! She's intelligent and informative while still being friendly and fun. All of the staff are very friendly and professional. On top of all that, they have a fantastic frame selection! I highly recommend :)

Yes I am very happy with the doctor, she is very personable and makes me feel comfortable talking with her. She very knowledgeable and a great personality. Also, the staff was very friendly and attentive along with making sure we had a good experience. I also want to mention that Chris was awesome. He answered all are concerns. He explained options very well. A great experience, we are already sharing our experience with our family and friends for referral

As always, my provider was excellent! She is extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and enjoyable to talk with. I look forward to chatting with her when I go there! The new staff members are also really nice, knowledgeable and helpful. The facility is very clean and they are being very careful with COVID precautions. All good!!

Dr. Sharon Barber is an awesome optometrist who spent the time to explain my astigmatism and different ways to address the issue. She also helped address my dry/red eyes and helped me to learn about the eye anatomy. Also she took the time to make sure I completely understood the treatment plan and contact lens plan. Front staff were also friendly. I'll plan to visit again next year.

John T was absolutely amazing. I learned more about lens technology, my own vision results (brought with me from a different provider), and the best range of options from him in 30 minutes than I had from several professionals in two other offices over several visits prior. He was amazingly patient, thorough and had me laughing the whole time.

UPDATE: the manager reached out to me after this review. They still have not submitted the claim to insurance appropriately. Due to errors in documentation and submission to insurance on the side of EyeCareCenter billing, I paid out of pocket about $400 more than I should have for contact lenses. I have called at least 5 times trying to get this resolved, and when they address one issue, another aspect is not done correctly. My insurance company and myself have spent considerable time trying to remedy the issue, however mistakes keep being made on the billing side. This is not an issue of the patient (me) having a misunderstanding of insurance benefits. I work in healthcare and know how to navigate the system and have still found it difficult to get resolution, so I can only imagine what would happen for someone without my background. The optometrist in the office was lovely and helpful, but whoever did the billing was careless. Cannot recommend this practice for this reason. I will be filing a complaint with BBB if this issue is not resolved within the next month.
