Dr. Philip Gaskins & Associates

Dr. Gaskins is one of the finest doctors I have seen. He is professional, patient, and very informative. He takes the time to answer my questions and is patient enough to explain to me (in verbiage that I understand) what is going on with my eyes. He gave me a couple of contacts to try and then filled my prescription after I told him which was most comfortable. Fantastic experience every time.

I just have to say Dr. Gaskins is the only eye doctor I will go to. He is an amazing knowledgeable professional. My prescriptions have always been perfect & he makes sure all my eye care needs are met at 110%. I feel confident in my trust with him and his staff members that are all so very nice. Professional, helpful and friendly! Dr. Gaskins went above and beyond to give a great routine eye exam. I hadn't worn contacts in over a year, and my eyes actually IMPROVED from the slight astigmatism I had. He could've easily racked up my bill and charged me for lenses and glasses for astigmatism, that I didn't necessarily need, but he made the extra effort to explain to me that since I was just on the cusp of having astigmatism, he would have me try a different prescription to see if my eyes could do without it, and it worked! I was in and out of his office within 45 minutes. I will recommend all friends and family to his office in the future. Thanks so much Dr. Gaskins!

I've been going to Dr. Gaskins for nearly 20 years & find him to be the most patient, thorough eye doctor ever! He never rushes you, answers all questions & offers pertinent information so that you feel well informed. Can't imagine going to anyone else.

You will not find a better eye Dr. in the Charlotte area. Dr. Gaskins is incredible! He stays current with the latest industry knowledge and he is patient, thorough and thoughtful and takes time to answer all of your questions. I recommend him very highly.

Not the best experience at an eye doctor's office that I've had. Waited over an hour past my appointment time to see the doctor. Left work early to make sure I wasn't late, and then that's how I was treated. Not pleased at all about that! The entire office (assistants) are very unprofessional. 2918 edit - I returned to Dr. Gaskin after trying another optometrist. Dr. Gaskin is not a bad doctor, but I had the very same issue with wait times - didn't see the doctor until over an hour past my scheduled appointment time. :(

1st time visit! Dr. Gaskins is knowledgeable, professional and kind. I been having issues with my eyes for the past 16 years. Is the first time that I feel that a Dr. cares about my issues and actually helps.
