My mother and I have been customers for a few years now and we've always had great service with Dr. Bailey. During my last visit, my Rx changed quite a bit, so now I'll be in my first pair of progressive lenses. We've never had an issue with receiving our PD (important if you order your own glasses), but after this visit, I realized that I should confirm my PD. I called the office and left a voicemail, but no response. I called again today to follow-up and finally got someone on the line. They informed me that they would need to transfer me to the office because they can only help with scheduling. I was transferred to Erin and she informed me that they no longer give out PD's and the last manager/management team put a stop on customers receiving their PD's due to a liability issue.... That really means - you don't want customers ordering glasses elsewhere. I expressed my disappointment in hearing the news, which apparently changed 1.5 years ago without letting customers know. Had I been aware, I would have took my business somewhere else. Initially Erin stated that she would share my concern with management in a "round about way". I informed her that I would complete a survey to also share my concerns. Erin states - in that case, I don't need to share your concerns with management because they see all of the surveys. I inform her that I would still like for her to proceed with passing my concerns to management because I am a customer sharing my concerns with a staff member and you have the ability to share my direct concern(s). If you like over spending on mundane frames - happy shopping, but if you prefer to order your own frames/lenses without a modicum inventory of overpriced basic options - look outside of the Eyecare Center (Pineville-Matthews Rd.).

Everyone at Eyecare Center was fantastic to deal with! I actually commented on how nice each person I dealt with was, they are a team and give you a great experience. My job requires extremely good vision (pilot) and I'm at that finicky age (55yrs old) - Dr Patel has gotten it right for years, she's the only one I trust anymore!

I love eye care center. I see Dr. Patel. Staff is also always accommodating and professional. They've anticipated my request and just all around, great. I read a comment below about the PD. I'd like to say, that doesn't prevent you from ordering glasses anywhere else and I fully understand the liability part. I have never purchased glasses here. Only contacts. I buy glasses from Warby where they measure your PD in person, if you go local. If not Warby, other companies show you how to do it yourself by providing you a paper ruler or measuring tape. It's quite a simple process. All you'd need to do is ask or read the FAQ's. Just my opinion. I've been coming here for literal years, and have never had any issues with service or customer service. Thank you, ALL, for all that you do.

I love coming here as I know the receptionist and Andria for years. I needed help in walking and getting up and down out of chairs and they were right there to help me. And of purse Dr. Patel I have also know here for years and she is fantastic. All are very professional and skilled in what they do. I have and on going appointment every year.

Terrible service. I got there and immediately was misgendered and called by my legal name, despite me correcting the receptionist. She said it would be on the paperwork and then didn't even read it. I was also told the doctor I was seeing did not take my insurance, which I was not made aware of. I have been to eyecarecenters in the past and have never had an issue with my insurance. I gave them my secondary insurance and wasn't told how much the copay would even be, I had to ask. It was more than I could afford at the moment and the reception made a point to ask if I was sure I wanted to reschedule, "it would be a waste of a trip." I told her I could not afford it before, there was no reason to ask again. I did not consent to text messages and she repeated asked me if I was sure, even after I told her again and again that I was absolutely sure. This place did not take me seriously. It was a waste of my time and my money.

I'm kind of upset I've been coming to this company for glasses since a kid my glasses were supposed to ready within 2 weeks it's been almost a month now no communication at all I call and every time is says all representatives are busy . Update I made this previous post and still no glasses on form of communication to lmk when I will get the glasses I desperately need instead of offering a free upgrade because I have been waiting since October 24th for my glasses the tech offers for me to pay more money so my glssses can get off back order instead of just giving me th upgraded glasses so I can get them quicker although I was promised my glasses would be ready within 3 weeks here we are a month and a half later .

My husband was recently a patient here and experienced a lack of transparency with his glasses and bill. What was supposed to be completely covered by insurance was $250 out of pocket including several optional charges that were never discussed including protection packages and such. Other optional things were called "standard" and ended up costing over $200. Buyer beware.... Get all the info upfront.

Always a wonderful experience. The staff is so knowledgeable and kind, great customer service skills.Dr Patel is awesome, she's the one that discovered something was wrong with my eye and referred me to CEENTA to get treatment for RVO. Very thorough.
