I was seen quickly. Reception was friendly. The nurse was personable and informative. Dr. Grayson has a gentle, reassuring manner that puts you at ease. He was thorough, took the time to explain my issue, and made sure I understood treatment. So glad to have found him!

My visit with Dr. Grayson was excellent in all respects. Greeted promptly upon arrival and checked in . After only about 5 minutes I was called to the examination area and greeted by his assistant She began the exam and then I met with Dr. Grayson, who is always very easy to talk to and professional. I highly recommend this medical professional.

The most loving, caring and professional person.! A couple of days ago,,just before the New Years, I came down with a severe painful eye.infection. It continue to hurt and didn't allow me to sleep . I decided to call the after hours clinical staff. She place my call as urgent! Shortly, after a few minutes to my surprise Dr, Grayson called. I was really impressed and pleased to hear his soft spoken voice on the other end. He listened carefully to what I was describing and immediately said " Call my staff in the morning and have them to add you to my schedule! The next morning I did call his office and was given an early morning appointment. He is so passionate and in my opinion he has such a Godly spirit about himself.. I am so happy my primary medical provider initially referred me to this doctor. Upon arrival, I was checked in suddenly and examined. His office staffer are so nice and friendly just like him! After the examine he called me in a prescription and made sure I had the understanding of my medication and Dsg. Thank you again Dr. Grayson for your concern and making everything better with my treatment. You have a wonderful team too ! May God continue to strengthen you and Bless your hands always with healing !!! See you in a couple of days for my upcoming follow - up appointment.

My visit was perfect. On time. Staff was awesome. Everything was explained to me so that I could understand every step they were doing... polite.my Doctor was just Awesome.i give him a 10 if I could...

Dr Grayson and his staff are personable and professional. He is very thorough and knowledgeable. Answers my questions and explains in an understandable way. Doesn't get any better than that.

Dr. Grayson is the complete package. Intelligent, knows his stuff yet very personable and friendly. He educates as well as addressing your concerns. Also staff is welcoming and professional.

I am a new patient to Atrium Ophthalmology w/Dr. Galen Grayson, MD recently (September 2025). I experienced a great deal of eye+head pain when I accidentally hit my cornea w/a phone charger tightly lodged in a drawer. I was attempting to quickly retrieve the cord when it suddenly hit my eye! I was uncertain how to proceed w/my new vision medical needs. I am not a big fan of UC-Urgent Care (they don't have the appropriate equipment to assist me) unfortunately. I had to wait for an appt in a facility where the MD specialized in the cornea/eye area. We all Know & Love the ER:" the emergency room" for its expediency as well as financial benefits (being factious). I was shocked to reserve an appt the morning after (20 hours after the injury occurred) BUT then learned how very lucky I really WAS to have such an incredible "TEAM" at Atrium Ophthalmology to work with. From the friendly, knowledgeable and expedient front desk staff (Emerald, Carolyn & Sarah) to Pat -Dr. Grayson's "Kind" Right Hand Nurse: I was extremely happy to be taken care of in this stressful and painful medical needs situation. Dr. Grayson is an amazing specialist in his field! From his incredible credentials from Harvard and the University of Southern California to being the one and only Ophthalmologist for Atrium Health I have to say I was very impressed! Dr. Grayson was beneficial in so many ways regarding my medical needs (from being on time, easy to talk to, compassionate, and respectful). He was professional, informative, explanatory as he described the best review of my symptoms as well how he would proceed after the exam. He walked me step-by-step in regards to his medical intentions (what he was going to do during the entire appt ensuring my comfort level) He made me very comfortable even w/ a red, painful, inflamed eye), He took his time but was on track to take care of my issue ASAP as well as his other multiple patients waiting. He was gentle and kind w/his instructions and ensured that when I left his office I was going to be on the road to recovery (w/a follow up appt in two days to confirm that I was healing properly). Thank you Atrium "A" TEAM so very much! It does take each and every one of "YOU" as professional individuals to ensure that patients would never "ENVISION" (LOL) seeing another specialist in this field **except the "A TEAM"!"
