The staff was Absolutely amazing! Dr. James was pleasant and professional ,so was his Assistant Michelle, she was very thorough and patient And so was our Alexis she showed us a lovely variety of eyewear to choose from. Even the receptionist were so very sweet, mild tone and professional. In and out but thorough.

Dr Kaluzny was my doctor/surgeon for follow-up from surgery. Greeted quickly by friendly staff.. Waiting room clean. Very short waiting time. Dr answered any questions that I had. Surgery from the day before was not painful. Went very smoothly. Waverly location was used for my followup.

THIS PLACE IS CLOSED!! Nobody picks up. When you are in hold, it will let you hold for 10min and THEN DISCONNECT, for no reason. . Message also gives you an option to go online and chat online. BUT THAT ALSO DISCONNECTS YOU for no reason. They use ringcentral and that is easy to configure. But I guess it's meant to not accept any calls. So the place is closed. Nobody picked up. Nobody works there .

Dr. Dave is clearly a valuable doctor and my first visit went well. However, the scheduling has been too disruptive. I've been rescheduled twice with minimal explanation and it doesn't feel like the impact on patients time and care is being considered. I'm now looking for a more reliable practice..

Meghan Neff at the Horizon Eye Care Waverly location is beyond amazing. She understands the challenges a patient experiences when trying to find the proper contact fit. She listens intently, asks questions to clarify, and helps articulate between the patient's feedback and needs to the medical ophthalmology terminology. Meghan provides professionalism and caring calmness in every interaction ensuring to meet the patient's needs fully understanding the importance of eyesight to a patient's life versus being a number processed through the system. Meghan's work ethic and caring to truly 'help and serve' in the medical field is of extreme value positively impacting the daily lives of others, sadly this ethical approach has been lost by many in today's world replaced by technology to be told an answer versus studying and applying thought and financial or personal greed to just 'process' the patient through and force patients into a one size fits all. Not Meghan. She is the opposite. As I have been misdiagnosed by doctors for years with conditions that have worsened over time, complicated my health and robbed me of enjoyment and ease to daily life things everyone takes for granted, Meghan took the time with me to get it right. My conditions impacted my eyesight and as I worsened without proper diagnosis I had been forced into prescriptions causing migraines, discomfort, aggrevation, and more. Not Meghan. She took the time with me on the journey with calm support until we finally found what worked. My astigmatism does not appear in today's ophthalmic machines and techniques, but I have had it for three decades plus my actual corrective eyesight is between settings that are not manufactured in contacts. Those two situations combined with my medical conditions affecting my eyesight to change was a new revelation this year and Meghan was my guiding light to 'see' again. I think of her daily and am truly blessed she entered my life and answered my prayers on my medical journey. She is of great value to Horizon Eye Care and treasured by this patient.

Just want to say my prior appointment with Dr. Kaluzny was perfect. He & his staff were so very pleasant, patient & professional.

Dr. Tomasko is absolutely the best. And this Southmore office runs smoothly; the staff here are pleasant, caring, and kind. The level of care truly stands out, and you feel genuinely supported from start to finish.i highly recommend!

Dr Kaluzny is a wonderful doctor who is very personable and patiently explains my condition to me. He performs the eye exams thoroughly and efficiently. Never had to wait long for him. Highly recommend to anyone with eye condition.
