Dr. Coccia was very kind, attentive, and personable. I laughed through the entire appointment. Their process seems efficient and I was pleased with my experience. I decided to get frames from elsewhere and they made it easy for me to get my prescription lenses handled.

Been a MyEyeDr client for over 3 years. My husband and I were one of Danyel's first customers. This location has a great selection of higher end / luxury brands: YSL, Armani, Oliver Peoples, Tom Ford, Costa. Plus more reasonably priced brands and multipair discounts. We've ordered all of the above and then some and have been happy with the results. Crizal lenses. Progressives. Contacts. Sunglasses. I get compliments on my frames from my customers at least once a week. They worked with me to order my trifocal set super low so it doesn't distract me. Highly recommended.

When you decline their cross sell on unnecessary product you will see the true side of this branch service not friendly, they will skip you from inline patients and hold you off. Honestly medical field should be based on service not based pn how much you squeeze from patients. hope they change these kind behaviors.

For years I have bounced from one eye doctor to another, either because I changed job locations or because my insurance changed. The last time I had an eye doctor I really liked, the practice stopped accepting my insurance. Since then, it has been hard to find an optometrist who was not part of a large chain or conglomerate, which made me less motivated to go at all. However, as a diabetic, I must have my eyes examined every year. Once again on the hunt for a new eye doctor, and despite my hesitation, I decided to try a chain, MYEYEDR. I read the reviews, which varied widely depending on location. I had been driving by this one in Ballantyne for a while and finally decided that since I was overdue for an exam, I would at least give them a try. To my pleasant surprise, I not only liked the doctor at this location, Thomas Coccia O.D., but the staff was exceptionally friendly and seemed to genuinely care. I have to give special mention to Danyel, who fitted me for my glasses. She is a gem. She is kind, funny, knowledgeable, and went out of her way to make sure I was satisfied with the many frames I tried. Another pleasant surprise was the pricing. In many eye exam chains, you often feel as if they are going to gouge your eyes out--(pun intended)--with the cost of glasses, which has pushed me in the past to take my prescription to a discount vision company just to save money. That was not the case here. Not only were the options plentiful, but the prices were very reasonable. There are choices for nearly any budget. Thank you, Dr. Coccia and Danyel, for making my first visit to MYEYEDR the first of many. You exceeded my expectations.

Danyel was fantastic. It was busy when I came in, however her and the associates took great care of me and made sure I got what I needed. I had to wait a bit due to how busy is was, but Danyel took care of me. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I will be back for exams and glasses. Thank you Myeyedr!!!!

Jeff and the rest of the front desk staff make this corporate strip mall eyecare place feel like a locally owned mom & pop business. Thomas Coccia and the other exam staff are all personable and know their stuff, but the people up front are what took this place from good to great for me.

Fantastic experience. Danielle was so helpful and went above and beyond to find my husband a pair of stellar sunglasses for our honeymoon. The whole office was very friendly, efficient, and helpful, and we will be coming back every year for our glasses. Thanks so much!

No stars. I went in for what was supposed to be a medical eye appointment -- not cosmetic -- and walked out nearly $200 out-of-pocket, even with insurance. At no point was I told what my copay or total cost would be before being seen. I even offered both my insurance card and my card to pay upfront, but the front desk woman told me, "We'll take care of it at the end." I was expecting a typical $25-$50 copay, not to be blindsided with a bill almost four times that amount. When I expressed my concern at checkout, the man at the front desk said nothing -- no apology, no explanation, no compassion. As a single mom of three, I carefully budget for every appointment, and this experience left me feeling completely disrespected and taken advantage of. Transparency and communication should be the bare minimum in healthcare. I would never recommend this office to anyone who values honesty, empathy, or professionalism.
