I had a great experience with Brendan at my eye doctor's office. He was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable, and made the entire visit feel easy and stress free. He took the time to explain everything clearly, and answered all of my questions thoroughly. His professionalism and attention to detail really stood out, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his patients. Exceptional service, and I highly recommend working with Brendan!

Dr. Julie Kells was kind, thorough, and great at explaining each aspect of my vision. Her assistant was prompt and detailed, notating both my current and previous prescriptions, and also reading my lenses to verify them. The optical specialist, Brendan, was polite and professional and described my lens options in detail, offering transparency and guidance on the best features and pricing. He offered a wide range of beautiful frames to choose from. I also loved that I did not wait to be seen, and I was able to book a Saturday appointment, so I did not have to miss work to receive great eye care.

Dr. Washington was great! She took the time to explain everything about my eye health in clear language I could understand. Nikki was great with getting me through the preliminary testing for my eye exam. When I checked out Brenden was delightful and personable. I would recommend this office to friends.

Despite my tardiness, Dr. Washington was able to accommodate me in her schedule, even though it pushed into other appointments, and potentially her break time. I really appreciate it as I have a busy schedule and am not able to come in any other time. She provided excellent service, as well as Brenden, who helped me with everything else. They are excellent at what they do and I highly recommend.

This office really did really good by me in January 2026. My insurance covers an exam once per year. The company (MyEyeDr) was no longer accepting my insurance starting this year even though I had an appointment set since 2025. Most offices would have ended it there and left me without contacts for a month while I found a new appointment. Halee in particular handled my account when it seemed hopeless and found a path for me to get my exam and contacts. This made a huge impact on my life as this is a critical time for my small business to prepare for the coming season. Thank you Halee for making this happened and thank you to the office for being great while I was there. It really mattered.

My child has went to the independence location for years . The systems are connected all the information is the same. I switched wallets and didn't have the physical card available. I asked if I could email or fax it later. They refused to see him. I never experienced anything like this in my life with any Dr. Visit. They are always willing to still see you and treat you with the option of you emailing it later . BECAUSE THEY CAN CLEARLY SEE IT ACTIVE IN THE SYSTEM!!!! I really dislike being inconvenienced. I called the independence location while in the office... they even confirmed that he could be seen with the information in the system. Thank goodness they had an open appointment for him Friday and will gladly see him no issues no physical card needed. I think some people are miserable and like to make up their own policies and procedures. I'm so annoyed.

Would have given 0 stars if there would have been an option. Worst optical center I have seen. It's already 2 months and till now glasses not ready. After 2 months I have been told that lab screwed it up and have two options. Either get the glasses done from somewhere else but in this case my insurance benefits from last year will not be applicable and second option that they have to again submit the order. Also, they have been not giving correct information over phone until I visited the center. Never ever going to MyEyeDr for glasses.

A very rude young lady hung up the phone while I was asking questions about what I could expect to pay for my appointment. I called back and a person named Nash answered. Nash identified himself as the general manager. I reported the matter to him. He stated he had been there all morning and didn't know who else would have answered the phone (really sir). He apologized, but didn't really seem to care. I will be canceling this appointment. They used to have really good staff, not sure what happened.
