I was very disappointed in the lack of professionalism, efficiency, and integrity of service. They charged me one price initially that I paid in its entirety once I picked up my glasses. Only later to have an additional bill added for glaucoma treatments I did not receive for an issue I do not have. Dr. Newsome is very knowledgeable but brash in her approach. The rest of the staff was not nearly as knowledgeable, the wait was over 45 minutes long, and wait area insufficient for patient privacy clustered around the front desk. She carries excellent frames by black designers that were missed fitted several times in progressive lenses. It has always been important in my family to support black owned businesses. This has been my experience, similarly my mother, and my sister so our family will not be giving this business another chance. So unfortunate.

Front office staff is pleasant. I saw a student for my exam and expressed concerns about eye dryness. She assessed my eyes and identified the issue then recommended their on site dry eye clinic. Dr. Newsome came in (it was apparent that she and the student had not discussed my concerns so I reiterated them to her) she then said she wouldn't even be able to determine the cause of my issue with the standard equipment in the exam rooms, even after the student informed her of what she saw. I asked if there was a more affordable option other than the dry eye clinic to which she said she wouldn't have bought the expensive equipment that she did for the dry eye clinic and that she wouldn't touch my eyes but maybe I could find another provider that would, all while she was dismissive and backing out of the exam room.

I relocated here last year and visited her office during the Fall. It was a great visit! The staff was nice and helpful and Dr. Newsome is very knowledgeable and confident in her skills. She ensured me that she was going to help me before I left her office. And she did an amazing job and also gave me a shot of humor. Thank you, Dr. Newsome...Terrie

Dr Newsome's examination process is extremely thorough! Your visit will take time because they do not rush! This allows Dr Newsome to achieve the best results for her patients!! She is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and provides a comfortable atmosphere!

I have complete confidence in Dr. Newsome. She has diagnosed complicated issues I have had with no hesitation at all. The office is top notch in every aspect. They have equipment and tests that are second to none. I don't think there is a more accomplished office for your eye care needs. Thank you Dr. Newsome..

Dr.Paula Newsome assaulted me Wednesday November 4, 2020...Violently Grabbing me by my neck and attempting to take contacts from my eyes.The staff here are very clueless, ignorant, unprofessional, and refuse to help. Debra the insurance person made fun of me. Anne Faulkner was always inconsistent with services and medical supplies provided, no one ever works there long because the staff has constantly changed since 2013.

If you are a Davis vision, client, avoid this office at all costs. They do not understand the insurance billed us for a contact eye exam which is covered under our insurance would not let my son leave until he pays ordered the wrong contacts therefore making us drive back return the contacts and have them order the correct contacts under Davis vision, the office is incompetent and does not understand how to file with insurance companies. Filed a complaint under Davis vision. Avoid this office go somewhere else.
