I visited Dr. Chen for a small chalazion on my eyelid and found her to be an absolute delight. She is extremely knowledgeable and gave me several options on how to treat my condition. We then decided together what the best course of action was for me. It was an eye drops and an oral antibiotic, twice a day for 2 weeks. I was told it would also be helpful to put a warm compress on it for at least 15 min a day. Christina from the office was very lovely as was Dr. Chen's entire staff. I highly recommend this practice!!

I scheduled my LASIK appointment with Dr. Nunnery about a month before my procedure and carefully followed all pre-procedure requirements. I was 23 at the time of my initial exam. At that first appointment, I received a very thorough eye exam and a detailed explanation of the procedure, along with information to take home and review. I also met Dr. Nunnery that day. At no point did I feel rushed or pressured, and everyone was polite, respectful, and professional throughout the entire process. Before having LASIK, I struggled with very dry eyes from wearing contact lenses and was nervous that this would affect my eligibility or long-term results. That concern was discussed, and despite my hesitation, I'm so glad I moved forward because I am truly better off for it. On the day of the procedure, I watched an informational video explaining aftercare and the do's and don'ts. The procedure itself was surprisingly quick and painless, with only mild discomfort at most. When I opened my eyes afterward, I was still a bit loopy from the medication, but I could already see--and I couldn't stop smiling. Before taking a nap, I did experience some pain and intense pressure, but sleeping helped tremendously. I took the longest nap of my life, and when I woke up, I could see everything so clearly. I was honestly shocked. The feeling was similar to putting on a brand-new pair of glasses and suddenly seeing every blade of grass--except it was just my own eyes. At my follow-up appointment, there was an issue with the post-procedure eye drops, which were supplied through an outside company and were taking longer than expected to either approve or deny my insurance. Despite these external delays, Dr. Nunnery made sure I received the drops I needed without interruption. The staff was incredibly kind and understanding when I brought this issue to their attention, and I truly appreciated how promptly they stepped in to help. My follow-up appointment the next day went just as smoothly as the rest. There was no pain, only mild discomfort, like something was in my eyes, but that sensation faded over the next few days. I have my 9-month follow-up coming up soon, and I still see clearly with no pain or issues. I did experience some dry eyes upon waking for a while, especially if the ceiling fan was on, but that has improved significantly over time. I am beyond happy with my decision. LASIK was absolutely worth every penny, and I'm incredibly grateful for the care, compassion, and professionalism I received throughout the entire experience.

I had the EVO ICL procedure done back in April of this year, and my experience with both Dr. Nunnery and the entire staff has been wonderful. I've struggled with severe vision issues since I was five years old and had been impatiently waiting for my eyesight to stabilize so I could finally have LASIK. At my initial consultation, I learned I wasn't a suitable candidate for LASIK. The team conducted thorough testing and clearly explained why LASIK wasn't the best option for me. Instead, they recommended EVO ICL. I had never heard of it, but Dr. Nunnery took the time to answer all my questions in detail, and I never felt pressured to move forward. The pricing was transparent. While it is a significant investment, I genuinely believe it's worth every penny. The procedure itself was quick, and although you're awake during it, Dr. Nunnery explained each step as he went, which helped me feel calm. My eyes were sore afterward (as expected), but after a nap at home, the discomfort had mostly subsided by the next day. Now, six months later, I have 20/20 vision. I haven't experienced any dry eyes--a major benefit of EVO ICL--and nighttime halos are minimal. My light sensitivity is about the same as it was before the procedure. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the results and the care I received.

I've been with Providence Eye and Laser since 2005 when I had lasik surgery. My outcome was perfect....huge impact on my life. Providence Eye has taken care of me since then with the most professional staff and latest technology! Wouldn't go anywhere else!
