I have to say these people are the nicest people I had ever met in my life. I had wandered into this place from the hospital last week as my dad's glasses had broken while he was in the ICU. I had never used glasses in my life other than sunglasses so I had no idea how to fix them or even if they could be fixed. So I took them to the closest place I could Google and it was here. Well, the kind people working here took me in, sat me down and offered me something to drink as they fixed his glasses in less than 15 minutes. They were so kind and sweet and did everything they could do to go above and beyond in my time of need. Having my dad be able to see when he would wake up was a small miracle and it was all thanks to this place. Thank you again!

Outstanding selection of eyewear and customer service. Sally's has a gorgeous array of international designer eyewear offerings; some well known and some niche brands. They have something for everyone. Their staff is so knowledgeable, warm, approachable and patient. I seek top quality products and service and Sally's delivers!!

I've been wearing glasses literally since I was an infant and I've been fortunate to have worked with some pretty wonderful opticians in other cities... but I don't think I've ever known any who could top my experience in your Dilworth location today. On the whole, the expertise, time and care they offered, attention to detail, and thoughtfulness in selecting THE best frames for me was truly exceptional. Thank you!

I recently visited Sally's Optical Secrets and could not have been more pleased. The staff is patient, courteous and professional. They take the time to allow you to choose the right lens for you. The lens collection is fabulous, nothing you would typically find in a standard optical storefront. The customer service experience was stellar and Ryan (Optician) made sure I understood how to use the progressive lens before accepting the eyeglasses. Thank you Sally's for a outstanding experience ... I can see clearly now !

After my experience with The View On Elm, I was sort of dreading trying to find a pair of really nice frames. I didn't want to drive to Charlotte from Greensboro, but I'm very picky about my glasses as I consider them both art and jewelry that is worn daily and shows very much about my quirky personality. So I booked an appointment, which was very easy to do online. I got there early, but it wasn't a problem. The doors weren't locked like The View. I could actually walk right in and try on any frame that I liked. Liz was great to work with. I told her what I was looking for and she went through the inventory, coming back with lots of frames that I really liked. In fact, it was very difficult to make a decision. I asked her if I could buy the frames and take them elsewhere to have the lenses put in. She said I could take them anywhere I wanted. I told her about my other experience and she said that refusing to sell just the frames made absolutely no sense. I told her that I did have another appointment in the afternoon to look at more frames as long as I was already in Charlotte. She said she completely understood that people needed to compare and offered to write down the names of the designers and the styles I liked. She started a file for me so in case I came back they would know just what I had looked at. She also said that if I decided later that she could mail the frames to me. I did go back later in the afternoon. I didn't have an appointment and they were really busy, but she took the time to work with me again as I battled over two designs. She let us take photos and send them to my husband, who was home, so he could chime in on how they looked. This is what customer service should be! Eventually I made the decision and now have a beautiful pair of luxury frames at a lower cost. I'm so glad that I made the trip. The next time I need a pair of frames, I won't hesitate to go back!

Excellent for repairs and fantastic selection. Frame options across a spectrum of styles, some incredibly unique some understated and clean. It would be a challenge not to find something that fits you, with many options you won't find elsewhere. They offer careful repairs while you wait. Extraordinarily polite and welcoming as well.

4.5 stars (-.5 so folks don't assume it's a fake positive review & because of the sticker shock) I visited to search for new eyeglasses based on the positive reviews. I had lowered my expectations because I was skeptical all the perfect reviews could be fake. To my pleasant surprise, I discovered that the reviews were will earned. Sally was helping a customer when I entered and had 2 others waiting, yet she took the time to welcome me and let me know they'd be with me shortly. After a few minutes of waiting, Julie came and introduced herself to assist me. After asking a bit about my preferences she pulled about a dozen frames for me to try. And then pulled another 2 dozen more. After going through them all I found 3 strong contenders in some amazing color options. Next Sally came out to make adjustments for the frames to get the right fit. Usually when I go to the chain eye stores, service is a toss up and I'm lucky if I can even find one frame I like. The price point is higher than the chain stores, but they carry what appear to be higher quality frames and provide a much more personal touch. When I decided on my favorites in a color they didn't have in the store, Sally offered to have them sent in just for me to try out without any commitment from me. I was apprehensive about the price, but then considered, if they are more durable than other frames, they will be well worth the price. I strongly recommend giving them a visit to experience the finest customer service I can recall receiving in an eyeglass store, and that's saying a great deal.
