Visionworks Carolina Pavillion

This location is a complete joke. My husband took time off work, his paid time off, to come during their posted business hours... only to find the doors locked and a handwritten sign saying they were "closed for lunch" from 1 to 2pm. Employees were inside, saw him standing there, and chose to ignore him. No one came to the door. No communication. Nothing. There is zero mention anywhere; not on their Google listing, not on their website, not even on their phone system--that they randomly shut down for lunch. That is completely unacceptable. If you're going to routinely close in the middle of the day, post your actual hours like every other professional business does. And what makes this even more infuriating is that this isn't new. I found multiple reviews from months ago saying the exact same thing. Customers locked out during business hours, ignored, and told after the fact that "we'll look into it." It's been half a year and clearly nothing has changed. You're not looking into anything, you're just wasting people's time and hoping no one calls you out. We will never return to this location, and frankly, neither should you. They do not respect your time, and they clearly don't care about fixing their own ongoing issues.

Myrna and staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Myrna was very helpful in explaining all the different lens options to get the best fit for my needs. Will use Visionworks again.

Absolutely amazing experience! Warm and welcoming staff. Clean facility with state the art equipment. Dr.Koonce was phenomenal! She took time to answer all of my questions. So glad to have her as my doctor!!!

I had a very disappointing experience with this Visionworks optometrist. I was told that my eyes were "good and healthy" and that I did not need glasses, even though I explained that I have trouble seeing at night and discomfort with bright lights. After trusting their assessment, I went to Stanton Optical for a second opinion and was diagnosed with astigmatism and prescribed glasses that I actually need. This made it clear that my concerns were not properly addressed or taken seriously during my visit at Visionworks. Eye care is extremely important, and being told everything is fine when it's not can delay proper treatment. I would not recommend this location if you want a thorough exam or your concerns fully evaluated.

Visionworks is a great place to get your eye care needs. The associates are Kind, friendly, and very knowledgeable. They made me feel comfortable through the whole experience.

The receptionist was very professional, courteous, and kind and informative. Dr. Koonce Was professional, courteous, and very informative explain to me in detail about what's going on with my eyes. They were perfect. They were very quick also.

This was my first visit and what an amazing staff was very friendly great customer service as well as the doctor Masherrill Koonce she was amazing full of laughter and very open &great personality

Went to this store twice now the past week only to be welcomed with a locked door apparently due to being understaffed. Absolutely unacceptable for management to not have any sort of communication to its existing customers trying to pick up glasses we paid a lot for. Being understaffed typically means hourly workers are not able to work or lack of hourly staff to be scheduled therefore management however up they go should be in the store until they can hire help or refund me my money and compensate me for the time wasted dealing with such an unprofessional business.
