Walmart Vision & Glasses

The star is for the great eye doctor and the receptionist. I believe his name was Jonathan. The ladies where the glasses are purchased are not friendly at all. Once I walked in to pick up my glasses that were ready, one of them didn't even bother to turn around to greet me. The old one with the short white spiky hair referenced that the door I entered in should have been locked. It was about 10 minutes until closing time but you are there to work. How dare you reference that a door should have been locked when your office hours are until 5:30pm. Clearly they're tired of working and need to retire. It's clear they're of age. This is not my first time being there and felt very unwelcomed. She is so rude. I wish I would've gotten her name.

lady inside the vision center that does not want to work or help she just turned me away cause I don't have my son with me and I have his prescription. She needs to be fired and find more suitable person for this job.

I sincerely hope management sees this from my experience today. I was assisted by Tatyiana (I'm sure that's misspelled... I'm sorry). She was AMAZING!!!! Soooo helpful and patient with me. Picking out frames is so overwhelming LOL. She gave suggestions and honest opinions. Loved her!!!

The sales representatives made it clear they did not want to work today. The look she gave me when noticing I was the first customer after their lunch break. Her attitude, even after explaining that I never wore glasses, was very condescending. Instead of spending my money there I cancelled the order and walked out. I would NOT recommend this store.

I have not been to this place but have called and made an appt and do not feel some of these low reviews are justifiable. The people I spoke with were always helpful and kind. Now that is not to say that maybe some staff may have needed an awakening but sometimes we the public can be unfair in our judgements of others based on situations. I have not been there yet but hoping to go soon to the Pineville location soon. We feel more patience is needed with all people in this country now and hope this is a wake up call to those folks who have discounted this place and in the future will try to give others the benefit of the doubt in circumstances. Amen

Any time i have been in there the lady that was there was very rude. There would be no one other than me waiting and she still would not help me. Another time i went in on my lunch hour but called first to make sure they would be open. I was told yes and there were two ladies working. So when I went on my lunch hour they had a robe up saying "Gone to Lunch"! Seriously? I asked a cashier when will they be back she said they just left. So can they not go at different times in order to service the customer? I complained to the store manager. Not even sure he even said anything to them. He didnt seem to be to concerned. I shop elsewhere now! Horrible customer service!

I had gone to a couple of walmarts with vision care earlier today however, the first one I went to was closed for another few days and the second one I went to they were closed for lunch so I called this store to make sure that they were open. The lady on the phone was very rude. However I really needed to get my eye prescription filled ASAP so I went to the store anyways. When I got there there was no one out in the front to ask me if I needed help. I wanted to look at new frames so I looked there for about 15-20 minutes to pick the ones I wanted. Still even after 20 minutes no one came out to help me or are if I needed anything. Finally I went to the counter and knocked on it to get someone's attention. A lady came out and asked if I needed something, obviously I did since I was trying to get her attention. I told her I needed a prescription filled. She walked by me grabbed the frames I had picked out from the counter and walked to the computer and told me to sit down and fill some aheet out. On the back there was a page that I needed to give my signature. I will NEVER put my signature on anything I don't read. So I started reading it and she told me that I didn't need to read it just sign the bottom. I told her that I wasn't going to sign something I didn't read she anacked her lips and rolled her eyes. I finished reading it and signed the paper. She didn't talk to me or make any conversation or try to be polite. She just kept asking me if I wanted to add some fansy lense or protective lense. When I said no she asked well do you want a warranty I know young people like you tend to lose or break glasses frequently. I said no again as I have never lost or broken a pair of glasses. I actually still have a pair of glasses from 4th grade. She finally finished told me the total and I asked what everything cost. She told me that I could get a receipt but she would have to print it out. I told her that was fine that I wanted a receipt. I was able to look at her name tag which read Lisa store manager. This shocked me because Im a sales manager at Golds Gym and customer service is very important. If any of my sales team is rude to anyone they will get scolded that is not appropriate by any means. If you work with people everyday you need to have good customer service especially if you are a manager. I was very disappointed. I really hope these people don't get any sort of commission off of this purchase. I will not be going back to this Walmart ever again once I pick up my glasses. I wouldn't recommend this place.

June 30th 1921 updates first apologies for last review for Walmart optical department following protocol for the virus I did not understand that that was the procedures that they had to follow my apologies. However everything has been running beautifully and all areas of the store the service is still great and the people are friendly and employees are helpful I give the store it's four stars always leaving room for improvement look for update later.
